And uh uh my uncle um had a whole stack of them in his basement and he found out that I'd started collecting them. My older brother had also started collecting vinyl at the same time. Yep. I happened to talk to Uncle Ray first and got there before he did. And uh yeah, but um he had tons and tons of 80s music, a lot of new wave stuff. That's what he was really into, you know, that's who he was coming up listening to. Um, and I didn't know any of it. And just recently I decided I wanted to go, you know, I had all these records, I wanted to make sure I went through and actually had listened to all of them. So kind of set myself a task of listening and sort of categorizing all of them and so much good music. Some of it was really, really cool. And I totally wrote it off just because of you know, maybe the the silly hairdo's or outfits and stuff like that.

But also musically, really um surprising sort of left turns, key changes, random time signature changes, and things like that. And I just and and not obvious arrangements, they weren't stuck in the same sort of on you know, um uh sort of pop formula arrangement that we have these days.
