Reid Besch and I go a long way back...he was the older neighbor boy that played with my boys when they were little.

It's been 15 years since he was throwing footballs in our connected backyards.

In the last 2 years, he's been fighting for his life.

He shares his story about being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) - and fighting to kill this disease out of his body.

Since he was cleared of cancer, just a few short months ago, he's been asked to campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man of the Year Competition representing Tennessee!

He shares all of this and more with me in our conversation.
