    - Abel had a blood sacrifice, Cain did not
    - Abel brought first fruits, Cain did not
    - Abel’s heart was right, Cain’s was not

- God isn’t looking for empty handed worship

- There is worship that God accepts and worship that God rejects
- Proper worship is focused primarily on the Lord
- Abel came to worship thinking about God. Cain came to worship thinking about Abel.
