- Ishmael represents the law, performance, self-righteousness, the flesh.
  Isaac represents grace, promise, God’s delight.
- The flesh puts you in the drivers seat. The Spirit trusts God to fulfill His Word by His grace.
- The flesh will create its own timeline. The Spirit trusts God’s timeline.
