David Sedlacek, a senior research professor at Andrews
University, specializes in family ministry and discipleship.
With a Ph.D. in social work from Case Western Reserve
University, he has experience in various roles, including
clinician, researcher, and pastor, focusing on trauma in
pastors. Alongside his wife, Beverly, a soon-to-retire
counseling therapist with a doctorate in nursing, they
co-authored "Cleansing the Sanctuary of the Heart" and its workbook,
contributing to emotional healing and family ministry through speaking
engagements and retreats.
