It also involves $100 million in cash. The partnership offers added opportunities for cross promotions between the two parties. This includes in-game promotions, betting odds integrations in broadcasts and increased prop bet options for sanctioned fights.

Last year at this time, esports took center stage with mainstream sports shutdown due the coronavirus pandemic. One of the hardest-hit towns for a number of reasons was Las Vegas. Heading into this March, local industry insiders are bullish on this town’s relationship with esports. Many believe that Las Vegas could become the esports capital of North America. The HyperX Esports Arena on the Las Vegas Strip is banking on it. Casino industry experts tend to agree that Las Vegas has everything necessary to fill that role. With the addition of more mainstream pro sports franchises, esports could be able to follow suit.

A Middlesex County Grand Jury has indicted a trio of men in a Boston casino cheating scheme. Playing Baccarat at Encore Boston Harbor, the trio is facing various charges as a result on this scheme. Jianming Li (age 53) was a card dealer at the casino. He is facing charges of conspiracy and larceny. He will also face charges of making false statements to the gaming commission. Jun Zhang  (age 41) was a former card dealer in Maryland. He is charged with conspiracy and larceny as well. De Lin (age 46) is facing conspiracy charges.

Foxwoods Resort Casino Reopens Four Featured Attractions This March

The slow return to the new normal at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut is underway. This resort has been known as the largest gaming facility in the world for the past three decades. As of March 4, the casino’s poker room will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day of the week. On March 12, the Rainmaker Casino and Atrium Bar will reopen for business with special health and safety protocols. Non-gamblers can look forward to the reopening of Topgolf Swing Suite. The entire month of March will be special at Foxwoods with numerous specials and promotions.
