Speaker 1:

Hey Gaines, hey, how are you doing Good, how are you Great. Are you going to go play Baccarat tonight? Yeah, are you going to come along? Yeah, all right, let's go.

Speaker 1:

So while we're on the topic of the 10 best bets in Baccarat, i thought I'd go over a shoe or two here and show you some examples of how we play it and just give you some insights into it, and I hope you find this helpful. This was a shoe I played the other night at Hollywood Casino in Grenfell Pennsylvania. Now, the problem with that casino is they only have two Baccarat tables, so game selection is not really an option. What will happen then? And we're coming up with the next series of the seven habits of effective or successful Baccarat players, and one of them is patience. When you play at casinos, they only have two options. Sometimes your patience can run thin trying to find a game and you can only play what they deal you, which is two games. But anyway, this one worked out, although I probably made a couple bets a little bit early here, but it worked out. So I wouldn't necessarily recommend the first couple bets, maybe the on. As you can see there, the on the run Zigzag bet worked out pretty well there. Then we got into it. Then I thought, well, let's see if it continues in a din where we lost one, and then it generally stuck me as a choppy shoe. Now I generally don't play game biases, but in this case, look, it's the only place to play. So I was pushing it a little bit, but at any event it worked out. It was a choppy shoe. You can see, i just bet opposite most of the time, just employing the System 40 strategy, flat betting it in a choppy game. It's not always just betting opposite, but that's what I was actually thinking there. Then I went to a recent most common one, which was one of the 10 best bets, which is why I bet the two in a row there. Then we went back to a choppy game. So I made one alteration in System 40, i qualified it with the recent most common, which is one of the 10 best bets. A little premature.

Speaker 1:

When I went to plus five, took a stab at strong bank. I probably wouldn't have done that if I wouldn't have been ahead. I would have waited one more, no doubt. But anyway it turned to a strong bank and my instincts were right. I jumped on it there, lost the third bet, but then I went right back to it. I was a little hesitant after the two in a row, thinking it could be a choppy game, but I stuck with it and it took off. The reason I stuck with it was there was such a weakness on the player side of only having a one in a row the whole game that it didn't really bother me too much that there was only a two in a row bankers for the most part. But it then took off as a really strong bank. I ended at plus 12,. I lost the next bet there, which was really a huge win.

Speaker 1:

On the run bets I always just stay until I lose the last one. Sometimes I'll go down to what we call a half unit at beat the casino, which sometimes saves you a couple chips every once in a while, at least the last one you were going to lose. Betting on the run isn't going to be your biggest bet, but again, this is a very conservative way to play and it's probably the best way to play. You want to stay away from Martin Gales and all the crazy bets. You can lose them. What if you bet 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55? What if you lose the 55?. Picking your spots and trying to identify biases, like we do at beat the casino, is the way to play the game.
