OK, Keith and Kevin here from the Baccarat guys, Kevin yesterday you were talking about unit size and that might, you know, especially if you're a slot player, that may be a little bit confusing. Maybe we ought to spend a little bit of time on that. Let's let's get folks squared with what is unit size, minimal, maximum bets, you know, progressions. What is you know, if you're explaining it to a layman. What's a unit size? What are we talking about here? Well, let's let's talk about slot machines specifically. OK, OK. Most slot machines will give you the choice of betting on. And I'm going to I'm just making these numbers up. Sure. Seventy five one fifty two twenty five, three hundred three, seventy five, whatever. Those are all in increments of seventy five. Yeah. OK. So seventy five units in that case is seventy five pennies. Right. So. Seventy five. If the if you bet on the first 175, I'm using that as an example. Other slot games are going to be two forty four, eighty seven, twenty eight, et cetera. OK. That's like seven. Twenty is seven dollars and twenty cents. Wow. Right. OK. It's 720 pennies. OK. OK. And you get more combinations than if you're playing slots. You can you can you can, you know, just you can go back and forth, you know, up and down, you know. Right. That's the number. And that's what happens. That's the same thing is really true in Baccarat right? OK. There is a minimum bet. OK. But remember, you don't have to bet every hand. That's true. So you can bet. You know, I'm going to use twenty five dollars, Keith. I'm just going to use that as a number. You can bet twenty five dollars two times in a row and decide, you know, I won both those bets. I don't want to bet anymore right now. That's right. In Fact, want to go home. That's right. You can't do that on a slot machine if you want to see the wheels tumble for the next one. You got to put some money in it. But Baccarat, you can watch. You can just watch. Yeah. And that's one of the other. And this is just one of the many things about the game that makes it attractive is that, you know, you don't have to bet every hand. That's right. And you do that at a blackjack table, man. Everybody gets mad at you if you keep jumping in and out and stuff. That is correct. That is, they get mad at you won't be there very long because you pretty much get kicked off the table. Know. That's right. That's right. So so a unit size is basically like if you bet one unit and you're playing a twenty five dollar table, that's twenty five dollars. Two units would be fifty dollars. Three units would be seventy five dollars, OK. And then again, it translates to any base base unit like what, five dollars is your unit? But the important thing is, is that. We're going to teach you how to win more units than you know. That's the key. Over time, we've got we've got many players who have progressed from five to ten dollars. Oh, yeah. Our unit to a one hundred dollar unit. That's right. Five Hundred dollar units. That's right. That's the key. That's the key. Understand that a unit size is based on your should be based on your ability to interpret what's happening in the game and what your comfort level is based on, you know, some buttons in front of you. You know, I'm pressing the button on a slot machine right now. That's an example. Nor should it be based on what Fred over here or Lucy over here has done. Right! It doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Oh, there you go. All wide world in your hands. Yeah. Yeah. That's a spot, I think. I don't know. That's right. So I got a question, though, from some players, and I know the answer, but we'll discuss how we're going to throw it out there. Everybody says you hear everybody yell monkey at at at the baccarat table. What is that? You want to explain that to folks? It's just you want a ten is a Ten, a Jack a Queen a King an Ace any ten card A ten card now they have nothing to do with anything else. But I think that came from I think, if I'm not mistaken and I don't know the Chinese name for a monkey, but it's very close to monkey. And I think that's where that came from. I think the reason you will hear people shouting that is because a monkey is zero. Yeah. Ten is worth a zero. Right. So 10 a jack, a queen, a king is worth zero. That's right. They want zero on whatever hand there. I hate to say, but betting against or sometimes even betting on, you know. Yeah. Amen the monkey, monkey, monkey. So if you hear somebody yell out at the table, that's they're not yelling at you to make it funny. They're just looking for a specific card. They want a zero. That's right. They want to ten card so Baccarat a Great game. You know, I think I think you'll be you know, if you stick around and learn how to play some of the basics, then in fact, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it .
