141 – What would spiritual rebirth look like in your church?

Our churches are facing some pretty challenging times. We need a more spiritual approach to church, but in our individual churches as well as all of Christianity.

In this week's episode, I talk about how the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus about the need to be born again, can apply, not just to us as individuals, but also collectively to our churches.

There needs to be a spiritual rebirth taking place in our churches.

Here are some questions I explore in this week's episode:

• What does it really mean to be born again and why did Jesus call it an "earthly thing" instead of a "heavenly thing"?
• When you or your church experience a rebirth here on earth, what's taking place in heaven?
• How do you conceive of church?
• Whose church do you go to, a church built by people's opinions and doctrines or do you go to the church Jesus built?
• What is the real foundation Jesus built his church on?
• Why did Nicodemus take the idea of being born again literally, and why do we take the idea of our churches being born again literally?
• How does God see your church?
