028 - What if you had a big debt due tomorrow and no money in the bank?
Remember when a widow came to Elisha the prophet with this exact problem. He asked her, "What do you have in the house?" All she had was a pot of oil.
It turns out, this was the solution. The widow trusted Elisha. She took action with the little she had and it was multiplied beyond her wildest imagination. You can find this story in 2nd Kings, chapter 4.
Sometime we are like Elisha and people come to us for help. Do we respond with our human opinions and a judgmental attitude, or do we respond with compassion?
Sometimes we are like the widow and are desperate for a solution. Do we go to a spiritual mentor for help or try to figure everything out by ourselves without turning to God?
What to do when you're homebound by corona virus
What do you have in your house? What do you have in your heart? It's important to know what resources we have and use them to the best of our abilities. God will pour out a blessing when we do.
