Welcome back to Drum. Find the podcast where we talk about all things whiskey. I'm Chelsea.
Speaker 2And I'm Pamela. Okay, okay, okay, we all know the classic combination of whiskey and a cigar, but what about paying a great drama whiskey while smoking something else, maybe a little more contemporary? Perhaps that's right. We are talking weed on this episode. So how does whiskey and weed pair up? Let's try it out. We'll enhance the flavours, destroy the flavours. There's only one way to find out. We would love for you to take a sec to subscribe to our show and your podcast app and leave a five star review if you like what you hear. You can also support us by heading to our website, drumfindca, and buying some merch and just supporting us. Yay, all right, let's do this. All right, let's do this.
Speaker 1Do it, do it. I can't even just spell that. Well, look at the state of you with my Mad Pony. Your top, yeah Well, it's beautiful. Your roots are looking snatched.
Speaker 2I know I got my hair dyed yesterday.
Speaker 1Oh, yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2I had to drive out to Caitlyn's and Spruce Grove and it was so cold right, so I was really worried I was going to break down or something. So I had like an emergency pack with me. I had the little hand warmer thing, I had a flask, I had all the gear. It was fine. I only seen about four cars that were like at the side of the highway. But do you know what I saw? What A ghost. What A dead moose, oh, a dead moose. I've never seen a. I've only ever seen a little baby moose before. I've never seen like a full grown one. And I was so snatched.
Speaker 1Was. It must have been very large, Are you sure it was a moose?
Speaker 2It was a big moose. I saw it's face. Oh my gosh. I saw its face and I was staring at it like, oh my God, what is that? As I was getting closer to it and then, when I realized what it was like, I was alone in the car, right, but I was going. Oh no, oh no. I was so sad.
Speaker 1That poor little moose. I hope the person who ever hit the moose is okay.
Speaker 2I know because it was a big one.
Speaker 1Because that's like instant. That's your car should be totaled if you hit a moose head on.
Speaker 2Yeah, that was like that really fast bit of the highway as well. So I was like, oh, no, oh shit, oh man it's beauty Are we including?
Speaker 1is this that part of it? Fine, what can be? Okay? So yeah, we are in a cold snapper right now. Huh, like, it is fucking part of my friendship. Everyone Cold as a. What do they say? Which is tit, which is tit? I mean, this is fucking freaking cold. I'm so sorry for the F-1.
Speaker 2I think, I honestly think our neps with a full and off.
Speaker 1Yeah, they're. They don't exist at this point, if you expose them at all. So I mean, you know I'm sitting in a cold cellar recording. I have my winter jacket on. I don't think it'll ever be warm again.
Speaker 2You look cozy. Yeah, I've like been walking around with like a jacket on and everything in the house, though I'm in the basement too, so it's not like super warm, but I'm not in a cold cellar like you, yeah.
Speaker 1Things I do for a good sound. You know, I know I'm very dedicated and you know today. So we're doing something a little unconventional today, aren't we? Pam?
Speaker 2I know, I'm just going to see how this is received.
Speaker 1I'm going to be interested to see how we respond, how this goes in general. So we shall see. We are going to, yeah, we're going to, you know like I think you should.
Speaker 2we should make a disclaimer that this is actually legal in Canada. Yeah, this is legal.
Speaker 1Yes, that's right. This is legal. This is an un-fictioned weed. Yes, the government gave me I. They're profiting off of this podcast. Right now, I don't smoke weed very much with really at all anymore. What about you?
Speaker 2No, I'm the same, but, like you know, we are stressed out moms, so we're allowed to unwind whatever we need.
Speaker 1Yeah, no guilt, no, no guilt. I will pop a gummy, pop a G, as I sometimes say. Pop a G. I will pop a gummy in at night to let me sleep. Those things, they work great, oh my.
Speaker 2God, Remember when we did a gummy in that hot tub.
Speaker 1Oh my never take a gummy in the hot tub, I think, because it just accelerates the effects of the, the THC, whatever, whatever, whatever combination we had, whatever strain we had, holy, you couldn't find the plugin You're trying to plug in your phone, listen, not while I was in the hot tub.
Speaker 2In the hot tub we had a really nice time, though.
Speaker 1Oh, we had a lovely, lovely time. That's right, it was very romantic, if you have anything.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was when we got back to the tail room that I was completely gupped.
Speaker 1Yeah, me too. Oh my God, I was like I can see through time.
Speaker 2I you know, I get it you were lying so quietly in your bed and the lights were out. It was like we were getting ready to go to sleep. But I was trying to plug my phone in and I was just like scrabbling around the floor, scrabble about like I couldn't get an end. I couldn't get the plug in.
Speaker 1No, you couldn't. Eventually I did it somehow. But I do remember at one point we were laying, because we were on, I think, this retreat and it was really great, and we were laying I was laying beside you or we had separate beds and I said I remember thinking, I think I said to you I was like Pam, do you want to have an existential conversation right now? Or?
Speaker 2something like that. Do you remember that? Yeah, you definitely did say that. And then you, I remember feeling quite nervous about that and you're like, oh, I was like. Oh, what, what kind of things do?
Speaker 1you want to talk about. I think I think we, we gave up pretty quick, I think I fell asleep, so I don't know. So so, with that being said, that's our one experience ever kind of being under the influence of cannabis before. But today we're doing it more in an experimental way. We want to actually see and this is just strictly for science how, how you know drinking sorry, how smoking weed affects the taste of whiskey. So do you have a hypothesis? What do you think?
Speaker 2I think it's got to be a yes. I don't know any science reasons behind it other than getting the munchies. And eating and weeds goes well together, so surely the flavors of a whiskey is going to make you go wow fucking great.
Speaker 1Yep, well, let me tell you, I did did some research about cannabis and eating and just how it just basically taste intensity, how to fix that. So I went on this book this. First of all, I did some unscientific research on this website called Reddit have you heard of it? And there's so many people just talking about how much they enjoy kicking back with weed and whiskey. It's just, they just work really well together.
Speaker 2Oh, really, so there's a. Okay, I'll need to check that out. Cool yeah.
Speaker 1I just it popped up and I went down the rabbit hole for a bit on that website. It is a bit of a hellscape, but so you know. But I found some useful information by some people writing very well, very well thought out responses. But I did go to pubmedcom slash govorg or whatever, I don't even know what it's called and there's a, there's an article called effects of, or not even a, it's a paper, scientific paper called the effects of can. The effects of marijuana on taste intensity. Yeah, so basically the long story short, short, because it does. It does enhance the sensory appeal of foods and there are a bunch of you know, fancy reasons why. A lot of it is because it just essentially mimics, teaching, mimics the like the hormones that release, like the hunger hormones, and also releases dopamine, which obviously is the pleasure hormone as well. So yeah, you got lots of those running through your veins and your bloodstream and everything is happy.
Speaker 2Right. So that's the reason behind the one. She's there and come on.
Speaker 1Yeah, because you just everything tastes so good and it just, and it also makes your, your, your body's like I'm hungry, I'm hungry, I'm hungry. It just mimics, it mimics that hormone. So did you bring a snack, by the way, for this recording?
Speaker 2No, but I might need to run upstairs and get some crisps or something.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah there will be a munchie break.
Speaker 2Did you do you have something in there?
Speaker 1I'll find something. I see some bread munchie break.
Speaker 2Just just chowing down on some alofa bread in the cellar. What a what? What marijuana product do you have?
Speaker 1I went to my local dispensary I don't know what's called something like buds for life or something I don't know about. Your buds value buds, and I buy some color cannabis Pedro sweet sativa man and it's a low t. She can't. We'll see. We'll see, we'll see.
Speaker 2And I, okay, I have a bunch of vapes. Oh, okay, I've got like three vapes. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna smoke. I actually don't smoke that much. I used to enjoy a little vape only have multiple vapes.
Speaker 1I think you have what for three.
Speaker 2I've got three, but two of them were gifted to me and one of them is my friend gave it to me for this, because she said it was a really good one. So but I actually stopped smoking vapes because I've had the fucking what you call it Bronchitis I had bronchitis really bad. And it just wasn't it worth it, so I'm doing this for you.
Speaker 1Oh well, I also have a cough. I know we're doing the worst possible things for our health right now. Now let's get. Let's talk about the most important thing, which is what whiskey are we going to be comparing pre and post cannabis consumption? So let's do that.
Moonbrook Spaceman Whisky Tasting
Speaker 2Huzzah Right, what are we drinking today? We have got from the Independent Bottleers Group. They've got a really cool series out of called the Moonbrook sorry, cool space theme whisky series, and this one is Dura 2009. It's a 12 year old whisky and refilled hogs head, 50.7 ABV retail and they're just over $200 here in Canada as well. So lovely, lovely stuff. So I'm excited to try it and I'm obsessed with the artwork.
Speaker 1Yeah. So this Spaceman series every all they have a bunch of different ones. They have like a secret Highland release together the telebartons, they're all a little spaceman on there. So they're a very catchy looking bottle and you know they really do select. I guess they're really going for a really premium cast selections and so the prices kind of reflect that I think. I don't think I've seen anything below 175. I could be wrong, but they're kind of in the 200, 200 plus range. But I'm excited for this Spaceman Isle of Dura whisky.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, See how it tastes. Paris and post.
Speaker 2Well, we not say and high, Spaceman get high, spaceman get high. Spaceman get high. Who's going to be higher?
Speaker 1We shall see. So should we do a bottle pop.
Speaker 2Let's do it.
Speaker 1Okay, here we go, let's try it completely unaffected by any type of any kind of chemical substance. But that's the bottle pop and this is us. This is tasting it just totally normal, normal stone sober. Stone sober Is that something?
Speaker 2No, Stone, stone sober. I mean, there's definitely some sort of joke in there for this episode.
Speaker 1Hold on, I think so I'll drink this. Okay, well, let's take it. Let's take a little. Let's take a little smell, let's take a little the nose is lovely.
Speaker 2Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I already had some earlier yeah you did. It's really light and floral on the nose.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's got some you definitely taste like because it's quite light in color. It's got a nice like from, I think, just because it's just American oak I don't know if it's bourbon, I just I don't know but it's super light in color. Yeah, it's really light and it's so. It's extremely, very fruity, Don't you find it? Even the tasting notes? I actually from the that I see here too, from the actual this bottling group, they say gushers and fruit by the foot.
Speaker 2I'm like oh my gosh, so fruity oh. I just took a great big drink for it as well.
Speaker 1Yeah, and I was like I like to make my own tasting notes, but those are spot on, I think.
Speaker 2Gushing it's gushing. It is. I haven't looked at the taste notes at all, but wow, yeah, that's. Oh yeah, it's super fruity and like mouthwatering, like yeah, it's got some. But it's like that reaction right.
Speaker 1Right A sturdy astringency.
Speaker 2It's quite oily as well when you look at it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm a big fan. I'm liking this so far, like I've tried a few things from this Moonbrook Spaceman series and I'm excited to see where this goes. This company Like, in just general, the independent. Is it independent bottlers or bottle independent bottlers?
Speaker 2This company, it's a bottling, bottling.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm excited to see what else they've got, because right now they've got a quite a small, small Independent bottlers group. Oh, independent bottlers group. Yeah, they have quite a small portfolio right now, but everything seems to be really high quality premium stuff so far. I mean sober Chelsea's digging this. I think it's quite decadent and fruity and light and I think over time I think it's going to taste nicer once it opens up a bit too.
Speaker 2I keep going back to nose in it. It's so light and really pleasant on the nose. Okay, so we like it. So far, right, I really like it. It reminds me of like Starburst when I drink it.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, that feeling that gush.
Speaker 2They described as gushy, but like that's.
Speaker 1Well, it's like almost like you salivate because it's kind of sour. It's almost sour, the sourness kind of makes you salivate a bit. So it's very like an intense fruit flavor, like a very ripe not even ripe, like maybe not ripe.
Speaker 2Not ripe. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, I don't know what do you think of the finish there? That's all I can do.
Speaker 1I was just making funny sounds. I think it's quite nice. It's a little lingering spice, I think from the oak, and yeah, I quite like it.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, yeah it's. I feel like the I guess we're calling it the gush now Sounds weird that part of drinking. It is quite overwhelming, I think, and then you get like a little moment afterwards where it's just that really nice soft finish.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's like you know. It's like you're going to meet like your boyfriend's parents and they really kind of they come in hard and they're like what are your intentions? And then you're like whoa, whoa, I'm overwhelmed. And then afterwards they're like you know, we just have this. What we have to do is parents, and then the rest of the night go smooth and just it's nice and chill. So maybe that's what this is Okay.
Speaker 2Wow, wow, what an intense reaction you've had to this one. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1So let's I think we should, I'm just I'm going to say it let's get to. Should we just go and do our Go, get high, our duty, let's go get Hi, and we'll try it again.
Speaker 2I keep giggling and I've not even smoked in here. I'm like too. I'm kind of so laughing at that. Just the fact that we're doing this, I know I know what's happening.
Speaker 1We're adults. But you know what this is legal people. Okay, we'll be back. Brb I wonder what great Dane tastes like. Man. Ah man, that's some heavy shit, man, okay welcome back. Welcome back everyone.
Speaker 2I was.
Speaker 1I was saying in the pool of vortex, yeah, well, you know, one of the best parts about smoking anything is that you get to see the smoke coming out of your mouth after you're like oh look at me. But when you're outside in minus 40, you don't know, it's like just the. It's just air vapor coming out of me, so it looked like I was it looks like I was blowing huge clouds out of my mouth. Yeah, just anything, anyways, yeah, that's, that's my experience. How was your vaping experience?
Speaker 2Yeah, it was good. I actually sent you a picture of my vape, did you see it? Oh, no, where On my phone? Oh, wow, it takes it to here. Thanks, but you were outside. Because it matches my nails. Oh, that's right, it does. Wow, it's a beautiful photo.
Speaker 1We'll post it. We'll post it on the ground. Post it, maybe not. We'll post it on the ground for all to see.
Speaker 2Yeah, but look at that, See, it's more kind of vaping, much shaker than than a joint. Yeah.
Speaker 1I'm still going to join. I don't know what to tell you. I got solid. You're old school, I'm old school.
Speaker 2I've always joined.
Speaker 1I'm just an analog girl and you're in the digital and living in a digital world. You're the digital girl, you literally are digital and I'm analog. Okay, whoa, whoa, okay. So I think it's time. I think it's time to try. What do you think? Okay, oh, where'd it go? Here it is, hmm. First of all, can we talk about, can we just talk about, whiskey? Just what a sexy drink it is Like like when I like it doesn't matter who you are as long as you're over 18, it's like if you look good at drinking it, I think right.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's cool. I mean cool factor. Yeah, okay, that's all I wanted to say. No, I'm here for it. I have just thought of the one potential snag in this test. What? Um it's because the nose on this, it smells different. Just going to say smells better, it smells more intense. Um, like, I feel like it's really, really appley, mega appley. I'm like, is that just because it's been late to rest for a week out there before we came back to it? That it's, that's you know what?
Speaker 1What are you with some kind of scientist now? Is this going to be? Is this a peer reviewed study?
Speaker 2all of a sudden, I don't know where that came from. Maybe I should smoke more.
Speaker 1Maybe you should also. I mean, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I'm not sure, I'm not sure. You're like no, I experienced I was anyways, I don't know. Um, yeah, that could be it, but it's also couldn't. So let's just drink it and see Okay, oh yeah, love it, I love it more. It's official, I'm pretty sure. Um, it's, it's, you know here's another scientific thing, bias.
Speaker 2We. I already my hypothesis.
Speaker 1Was that it would enhance flavors. Based off of my research and just my general gut feeling, but based off right there, based off Reddit, it came, I got feeling but um, so maybe this is what we call like it's, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a double bias. Like I can't be my own researcher and subject, we need a double blind study up in here. Could?
Speaker 1you go on speed dial. It involves yours, yeah, but I think that's just. We're just joshing, we're just kidding around, just kidding. Um, the justiness is still there when you drink it. Um, I think it's a good thing. I think it's a good thing. I think it's a good thing.
Speaker 2I think it's a good thing. I think it's a good thing. I think it's a good thing Because you're drinking it on the way you know on the way you know.
Speaker 1on the way you know on the way you know on the way you know on the way you know on the way you know on the way when you drink it.
Speaker 2You know, I feel like I could drink more whiskey right now than I normally could.
Speaker 1Like I can take bigger.
Speaker 2Like the quantity, like I can put a bigger amount in my mouth. Did you just take up except? It didn't I was fine with it. Um no, I don't even know. I don't know.
Speaker 1I mean, I think the taste. It tastes really tasty. That's, I think, another reason why I want to like drink more of it, because it tastes so good and fruity and I barely noticed any maybe harsher elements to just a general whiskey. So I don't know, I just Moonbroke. I just want to say you're doing a really good job with your brand name.
Speaker 2Love you man, love you man. That's what they were gonna say there.
Speaker 1Love you, man. Oh man, peace. No, but I feel like they're doing a really good job with their branding. I'm digging it.
Speaker 2No, they are, I'm into it as well. It's really cool.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, okay, cool. So I think, in conclusion, I think we just have to wrap this part up, because You're a little stopped.
Speaker 2I'm trying to do a fucking tasting and you keep it right at the end? Why?
Speaker 1And I'm trying to make it like what would you do if you were lost in the woods and you only had one thing to drink. What would you do?
Speaker 2I'm trying to make all these existential questions, I know this is what you do, and I'm trying to get deeper in this. I'm trying to go. What do you think of the finish, chelsea?
Speaker 1And I said the finish was.
Speaker 2You didn't. You spoke of the branding.
Speaker 1I swear I was like I wanna talk to Moonbroke directly. Moonbroke Anyways.
Speaker 2Oh, you're so funny. Okay, right end. I do think I taste more of it.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, I definitely do. I just had a. It's definitely more. Oh, wow, yeah, yeah, like pineapples and oranges and all sorts of that, that's that's, that's the zesty, it's zesty punch, a great zesty punch, like yeah, it's good I like it, yeah, and that my tongue's on fire.
Speaker 2And then that's why that we slow burn. At the end there's so good, oh well, wow, ok. I think it's funny that we've both got two different places here.
Speaker 1What do you mean like locally, like just physically or mentally, mentally, yeah, yeah, yeah, I just, you just go to, you're like more focused on less. Yeah, I get more focused but this could be the different strains we're on. Totally could be, yeah, yeah, different yeah.
Speaker 2Because we, because we knew so much about we, know Different.
Speaker 1I don't know. You know it's like if you want to feel this way, they're like drink that or have this if you want to feel this way.
Speaker 2I'm kind of zombie. Yeah, please, right, ok.
Speaker 1This part, although we'll see how much we can use of this, because I'm just going, I'm like it's funny. Now I don't even feel that high Like.
Speaker 2I don't feel like physically that high, it's just my brain's like my brain is focused but when, like, I've got like the mild excited, like feeling in my chest oh yeah, I've got like a wee buzz on OK you know, go, go go. Conclusion, then right, Conclusion number one.
Speaker 1Yes, it does taste better, I think. Yes, it does 100 percent more flavorful, yeah, and big ups to Moonbrook once again. And number two conclusion, would you know?
Speaker 2Yeah, you enjoy it more, you enjoy more.
Speaker 1Yeah, the general experience like maybe you know, do you enjoy the feeling of having a little bit of lean in your system and drinking whiskey? Do you like the combination of feelings, I guess?
Speaker 2Yeah, I think, I think it's really fun. Yeah, it's fine, and yeah, the little buzz on yeah and it's say yeah, it's just, it's. I'm just like feel like I'm hyper focused on the whiskey and I keep trying, I keep trying to talk to Chelsea, but she keeps cutting out this podcast and I just get it and then hang on the editor. I do it, I know you do, and for God, what was saying?
Speaker 1Oh, so something about you being really focused.
Speaker 2Right yeah, right yeah yeah.
Speaker 1So yeah, and then also I would do would you do this in the future? Would you pair these, these two, these things in the future, these, these, if what are they called? I'm going to cut this, but I was going to say afflictions, no, but no formal legal substances which are now very legal.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, but definitely do it again. It's, I'm having a nice time over here. I'm swinging in my chair. It's probably going to drive you mad, ben. You're in this later, sorry, and these weeks, but yeah, I would do it again. Do I need to do this again tomorrow night?
Speaker 1Yeah, sign me up. I think we should have it. We should create a new podcast, officially now called just hanging out with Pam and Chelle, and it's just implied we're on weed all the time.
Speaker 2What was it that you said earlier? That was like that's like there's got to be something in there somewhere like a name of the episode or something you said like stone super stone sober is what I said.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, ok. So now that we've summed that up, I'm just jumping right back in. Let's get back to business. We thought we wanted to introduce to you all now a new segment to our show that we're going to. Maybe we'll bring it back again, and I'm I'm, but I'm going to call this one. We're going to call this segment dramatic readings of whiskey reviews. Is that good? Yeah, Should we workshop the name, or is that good? Ok, so what I did is I just was like, did some research on the worst, weirdest, funniest, most interesting whiskey reviews that I could find.
Speaker 1There's plenty out there, but I just have a little few that I selected from spirits Was it spiritsbusinesscom? And we're just going to read some of them because they're kind of funny. And so I'm Pam, I need you to just, you need to commit, you need to really just. I want to, like you're on stage, you want people to laugh and cry. You got to really emote, ok, so I'm going to let you do. I'm going to let you do the one of the first one. So pick which one you like and read, ok.
Speaker 2OK, he club whiskey Right. It got 0.5 stars, notes of toilet duck and great PR. I'd rather lick a cat's armpit.
Speaker 1Oh, so not a point, that's not a good sport Not a fan Toilet duck. Yeah, what's toilet duck?
Speaker 2Oh, you don't know what toilet duck is.
Speaker 1No, teach me.
Speaker 2No, it's just like the bleach that you put in your toilet when you're cleaning it. Oh, okay, the bottle shaped like a duck's neck. Yeah, I just.
Speaker 1I get it. I totally know what you mean. Now, I totally know what you mean, okay. Well, that was a great warm up, so let me get to the next one here. Okay, I'm going to do a little bit of a longer one. Okay, and it's from the website scotchnewbcom and it is for the Lakdu Black Whiskey. I don't see a rating here, but I think we'll figure out the rating pretty quickly once I start reading. So here we go. Nose is brutal. A brash pungency like overripe bananas, cracked cherries and syrup, petroleum, burnt sugar, soy sauce and raw fruit peelings. It's intriguingly bad, like the nasal equivalent of a horrible traffic accident. You can't help rubber necking to look for body parts. It smells like a full kitchen trash can and throwing away a burnt stir fry. The addition of a splash of water brings out a little of the fruit notes like a dish of bananas, fosters that left, that was left to burn in the corner, and that's just the nose, whoa.
Speaker 1I'm just gonna say it. Yeah, I'm just going to cut to the end. He basically just waxes on and on, but he says this experience is unmercifully long, leaving behind spent grain, coffee grains and roofing tar. I had to drink two trams of powers to get the taste out of my mouth. There we go.
Speaker 2Whoa.
Speaker 1That's a wow. I'm not going to try that. I've heard about that whiskey before.
Speaker 2Okay, you ready you want to read another one. Yeah, I'm just laughing. Okay, I've got the Glankinshi 12 year old and it's from masterremotecom. Okay, let's go. As a passionate and frequent adventurer in the alcoholic arts, I gave this Scotch a little try while exploring the wonders offered by the beautiful city of Edinburgh. The only reason why it is still on the shelf the vicious flavour could only be improved if Canada Dry Ail Ginger Ail Company drowned the pub I was sitting in and, honestly, I would have welcomed a spicy watery grieve.
Speaker 1Whoa, oh, I didn't see that ending Wow, you'd prefer death by Canada Dry. That's rough, hey, that's rough. Well, thank you, that was a very rough one that was like poetry, that one.
Whiskey Review Podcast Closing Episode
Speaker 1It was, wasn't it? Yeah, it was. I felt like I was at the pub waiting for my untimely demise by Ginger Ail. Yeah, Okay, next one. I got one here, this one. I think this person is really trying to pull her leg. I think it's a joke, but it's also funny If this person is serious or not. So here we go. This is about the Glen Livet 15. One star from themasterofmaltcom, and be aware, you should be careful when you buy this. It does not come in French oak at all, but a glass bottle did not like the colour of the leather of the box either, so that's a purely aesthetic. He thought it came in a French oak barrel. What a silly. Ha ha, ha Ha ha ha.
Speaker 2No, that was a good one.
Speaker 1If you find any funny reviews, send them to Drumpind. I don't know. Yeah, you know I feel like writing whiskey reviews is can be very, I imagine, like very tedious job. I mean, a lot of people use the same verbiage and the same. It's all basically the same. It's a hundred words just jarble together differently.
Speaker 2You know what I mean? Yeah, I actually always. I was happy I saw like the master of malt ones on there. Their whiskey reviews are always like so good, either funny or like that Like fairly comely poem.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think you have to do that. Yeah, if I had the energy, I would love to maybe be a little bit more poetic in my writing for whiskey reviews, pig Lane, chelsea. Anyways, that should we have, we done. Well, well well, that was. That was interesting. We'll see if this airs. Oh, I guess that wraps up our penultimate episode of season three. We hope it's a. We hope you like it.
Speaker 2I hope you had as much fun as us.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm still having a great time, so of course we want to thank the writer of our theme song, stuart Bobbin, for the ink. This is the life.
