Aloha and welcome to The Mission North Shore's Podcast! Mark chapter 1, the cleansing of a leper. What makes this story extraordinary isn't just the physical healing, but the deep spiritual symbolism woven throughout. We discover that leprosy serves as a picture of our human condition apart from Christ - starting small but spreading relentlessly, numbing our spiritual sensitivity, isolating us from community and God, and leaving us utterly helpless without divine intervention.
