We are a spiritual home for Jews and Gentiles who have embraced Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah and Lord. This podcast content includes Rabbi Gary's "Messianic Perspective", a 1-minute radio feature that airs on KKLA 99.5 FM in Los Angeles, on Fridays during rush hour. PT 12 - ZECHARIAH 9-10 - The Coming of Israel’s True King - 11/30/24
Zechariah 9:11-10:12 speaks of the extraordinary blessings promised to Israel.
1. Preservation. Despite her worldwide dispersion (9:11-13), Israel would be preserved as the people of God.
2. Protection. Despite the attempts by the nations to destroy Israel, the Lord will protect her (9:14-17).
3. Provision. Whatever Israel's needs, the Lord will provide for her(10:1).
4. Pastoral Care. Though Israel had followed after false gods and gave heed to false prophets, God will purge them from her midst and provide a Good Shepherd who will care for Israel's every need (10:2-5).
5. Restoration. Though Israel had been scattered to the ends of the earth, the Lord will regather and restore her (10:6-12).
