Garden Dilemmas, Delights & Discoveries

Ep 54. Sharing Comfort & Dividing Perennials

Mary Stone Episode 54

Welcome to our chat from the screen porch about garden and nature stories that help heal and grow our lives.

Perennials are emerging, inviting us to divide them to share with others, reminding me of a column long ago worthy of a refresher about Dividing Perennials.

Then I share the story of a family of foxes Jolee came upon the weekend of Comfort Zone Camp, a grief camp for kids, where they learn they are not alone in the world. Reminding me of a cherished book:

The Boy, the mole, the fox and the Horse is "meant for everyone whether you are eight or eighty," Charlie Mackesy writes, sharing comfort and wisdom such as asking for help is brave, a theme at Comfort Zone Camp too.
