There is much squeeing about domestic Sam and Eileen, that sock reference, and the very extra sheriff. The episode also includes an extended discussion about the way that Lee was used as a foil for Dean, revealing truths about who Dean is to both the audience and to himself, and spurring Dean to reevaluate his recent hopelessness.
