End of the Tape

Sinéad and Mel are closing out their teenage mixtape by diving back into more moments that shaped us. We’ve looked at first jobs, first loves, first periods and the first version of the internet. We’ve revisited the pressures that came with the new millennium, the sexual politics and body issues we’ve had to unlearn, and taken a tender look at the beautiful chaos of teenage life that made us who we are.

In this final episode, we’re taking a last look through our time capsule; our deeply uncool bedrooms, petty dramas and the unhinged slang we’d like to see make a comeback. We’re asking what our teenage selves would say if they could see us now, and most importantly: what are you taking from your teen self into adult life?
