Sara starts the show talking about how she chose Penn State, how she became a writer, specifically covering hockey. She chats about the rewards that her job brings to her and some of the differences between covering college hockey opposed to professional hockey.

Being in a predominately male industry, Civian talks about what it is like to be a woman in sports media and some of the challenges that it brings. She discusses how she deals with adversity and gives advice to young women interested in a similar path.
