Fearless Films
Fearless Films Podcast is a weekly show where we walk through horror movies, breaking down the beats, discussing the lore and interesting trivia of all the best (and worst) in the horror movie genre. The show started as Pete, the horror buff, explaining the plots of horror movies to Kevin, the scaredy cat, who hates being scared but is intrigued by these modern mythologies.
Kevin eventually retired from the podcast, but the show goes on! Pete is now joined by Sarah, who also loves horror movies, and they continue the tradition of explaining the scariest stories to all the scaredy cats out there, so they don't have to watch the movies.

Episode 153 - The Bay
What happens when you take a director known only for dramadies and have them helm a found-footage horror flick? You get The Bay!
The Bay is a mockumentary from Barry Levinson (Diner, Good Morning Vietnam, Rain Man) and follows the story of a small coastal town that is devastated by a plague of parasitic isopods that have mutated due to illegal dumping in the waters. The crux of the plot follows an intrepid journalist trying to crack open the US government's attempts to cover up the incident.
This is a favorite of Pete's, and he felt it the next best 4th of July horror film after Jaws. The similar setting and aquatic menace certainly help keep up the theme.
The fun twist is this: he had Sarah watch it and deliver the rundown, even though she hates bugs and is skeeved out by the movie. Pete is not very nice.
So join us as we talk found footage, bloody lesions, and dumb husbands, but remember: don't get too scared!
