ROMANS 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, are the children of God.
God is developing us as His people and raising us as His family and in order to accomplish this, He does not want to use power and might but only His Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the only person who can accomplish the purposes of God in our lives. Talent, strength, force, natural ability, money, education, social influence cannot accomplish in us what God wants to accomplish. These things are important but apart from God they can lead us to a place of self reliance, instead of reliance upon God a place of self centeredness, instead of God centered
It is for these reasons that being Spirit led is one of the greatest and most important challenges of discipleship
