Zechariah 9:9 See, your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Jesus entered the city according to a specific time the Father had set. ( In the fulness of times) The same can be said for his entrance and arrival in our lives. Jesus comes to us at just the right time, often when we're least expected, in a way we would have never anticipated. But the good news is God has also pre-arranged our encounter with him. He entered into Jerusalem humbly, not with all the usual fanfare that accompanies kings and great leaders but as a humble servant, a king riding a donkey. He comes into our hearts the same way, as the Lamb of God destined to be the Lion of Judah and the King of our hearts.
