In this segment Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee are joined by fellow NAU urologist, Dr. Christopher Yang.

Dr. Yang takes us through one of the treatments for BPH, or an enlarged prostate, called Urolift. During this procedure, medical-grade staples are placed and used to hold back some of the prostate tissue in order to make urinating and emptying the bladder much easier.  This  can be done in an outpatient setting and has shown to have little to no effect on normal sexual function (can I get an amen?!). 

Dr. Mistry and Dr. Yang discuss the Urolift and several other procedures that can be used to treat an enlarged prostate, as well as how to know which treatment is the right fit for you.
