Dr. Ong and Dr. Mistry discuss some of the testing involved in looking for and treating kidney stones and encourage patients to stay hydrated, particularly in the hot summer months. Dr. Ong goes into some detail on a technology called shockwave lithotripsy, which utilizes energy waves to break kidney stones down so that they may be passed.
