Dr. Mistry goes into some detail about how testosterone pellets are placed in-office, as well as what to expect when receiving this treatment. He also shares about his personal choice of testosterone pellet, BioTE,  and speaks to both the quality and dosing available through this option. 

Some things to consider when selecting  treatment with pellets are:
-comfort level with needles (if you cannot inject yourself with testosterone, this may be an  option that works better for you)
-frequency of office visits (pellets are placed every 6 months, with lab values being checked a few times a year)
-history of testosterone replacement therapies (any treatment you may have received prior and how you tolerated or reacted to it)
