Rezum, aka water vapor therapy, is a technology which uses steam treat and reduce the size of an enlarged prostate gland. This condition is commonly known as benign prostatic hypertrophy and is typically seen in aging men. In fact, it is estimated that 50% of men over the age of 60 will experience urinary problems which range from incontinence, frequent urinating during the night, or incomplete bladder emptying. 

Dr. Mistry and Dr. Levin give listeners an in-depth look at this procedure and discuss the technology in some detail, as well as what patients can expect before and after their treatment.
