Thanks for tuning in to the Armor Men’s Health Hour Podcast today, where we bring you the latest and greatest in urology care and the best urology humor out there.
In this segment Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee discuss the care offered in their clinics near the end of the year.
Dr. Mistry explains the importance of getting screened for prostate cancer, which typically begins at age 50 for most men. However, there are factors that may indicate that men should start screening at an earlier age, such as family history of prostate cancer.
Dr. Mistry discusses his approach to sharing a cancer diagnosis with patients, as well as some of the screening tools and treatments for finding and treating prostate cancer. At NAU, patients will not only be a part of the conversation in finding their best possible care and treatment, but will also be reminded that there is always hope. No one is alone in their health journey.
