Dr. Sandeep Mistry and Donna Lee

Thanks for tuning in to the Armor Men’s Health Hour Podcast today, where we bring you the latest and greatest in urology care and the best urology humor out there.

In this segment Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee discuss the importance of regular health check-ups and encourage listeners to find out about their testing options. Tests such as the MRI and CT scan can be life saving when they find a cancer or other serious health issue; however, all too often this happens by accident. If you have a question about a particular test or would like to find out about cost expectations for testing, feel free to contact Urology Specialists at 512-238-0762 for more information.

Donna Lee asks a question submitted by a listener: " I have had 2 negative prostate biopsies, an MRI, and no cancer found. My PSA level keeps rising. Should I be concerned?"

Dr. Mistry discusses the PSA, or prostate specific antigen, and how it is used in determining an individual's risk for prostate cancer. He also shares about what changes in PSA can indicate, as well as other testing methods including urine screens for prostate cancer and an MRI.
