Dr. Sandeep Mistry and Donna Lee,Dr. Lucas Jacomides

Thanks for tuning in to the Armor Men’s Health Hour Podcast today, where we bring you the latest and greatest in urology care and the best urology humor out there.

In this segment Donna Lee asks Dr. Mistry and Dr. Jacomides questions emailed in to the program by you, our listeners! If you have a urology and health-related question that you would like to hear answered on the air, please email your questions to armormenshealth@gmail.com. Questions are answered anonymously, unless otherwise specified, and the answers will likely benefit many people with the same concerns.

Listener Question: " I am a positive person and was found to have testicular cancer- where do I go from here?"

Our doctors encourage listeners today to "not let the sun set on testicular cancer". This form of cancer is best identified early not only because treatments will be more effective, but it can also progress quickly depending on how aggressive the disease is.

One issue our urologists see often is not that men do not know what to look for or what an abnormal testicle feels like, but what needs to be done after noticing changes below the belt. Dr. Jacomides shares about the self-examination, which can easily be done in the shower, as well as what to look for (e.g. shortness of breath, pain,  bleeding, asymmetry).

This applies to men of all ages, with special emphasis on men in their 20s-30s, who are most likely to be impacted by this condition.

Remember to check below the belt, and, if you should have any questions or concerns, we look forward to talking with you and caring for you.
