Today's question: " I am a 43 year old man and have experienced erectile dysfunction for four years now. I take ED medication from an online pharmacy and get testosterone every 10 days. My blood work is good, but I feel like my libido is suffering. What can I do?"

While erectile dysfunction can sound like a very specific issue, it can often be a good indicator that something else in the body is not functioning optimally. In fact, ED can be an early indicator of heart disease or plaque buildup, especially if it is found in younger people (like our 43 year old listener). Dr. Mistry discusses some additional testing that can rule out some of these underlying causes and help get to the root of the problem. These include heart saver scans, a penile Doppler study, and a full hormone evaluation.
