Dr. Sandeep Mistry and Donna Lee

Thanks for tuning in to the Armor Men’s Health Hour Podcast today, where we bring you the latest and greatest in urology care and the best urology humor out there.

In this segment, Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee are joined by a very special returning guest, Dr. Aisha White. Dr. White is a plastic surgeon and shares with us an in-depth look at breast reduction procedures, and how men can support the women in their lives when prioritizing their health.

What should men know about breast reduction surgery?

Dr. White shares that most women coming to see her for breast reductions have very large, hanging breasts. Due the the amount of breast tissue, these women can experience a variety of issues, including: headaches, back pain, neck pain, bra strap irritation, and developing a rash under the breasts.

Men should also know that a breast reduction is not a total loss of breast tissue. Many are afraid that their partner's breasts will be completely gone, but most women are often size DD or E after being reduced from sizes like J and H, says Dr. White.

Also discussed today are the differences between a breast lift and breast reduction, as well as what women can expect before, during, and after receiving treatment.
