Premature ejaculation occurs when a man climaxes during sex sooner than he or his partner would like. This is not always a cause for serious concern; however, if left untreated it can take a toll on a man's confidence in sexual performance, at times even leading to associating sex with a negative experience or avoiding intimacy altogether. Dr. Mistry discusses the impact of premature ejaculation on physical and mental health, as well as the various treatment options available.
