This Mental Health Bible Study Podcast is hosted by Tyra E. Rowell, an empath and licensed psychotherapist who loves to talk about life, faith, and mental health despite her speech impediment, which she developed due to hearing loss from birth. She is an educator at heart with the gift of teaching and squeezes in time to create for the glory of God.
Let's talk about why she decided to create this Mental Health Bible Study Podcast. For three reasons. 1. To share knowledge that is not being taught in the church about integrating psychology and Christianity. 2. To share knowledge about the psyche of human beings. Psyche means soul. Your soul is the seat of your feelings, thoughts, and willpower to choose. 3. To share knowledge that will uplift God's people and show them how to embody the biblical scriptures to live a balanced life, rooted in truth, and living in freedom, healed and whole.

For the month of March, I decided to podcast a series for Women's History Month. I will be teaching about a few women in the Bible from a spiritual and psychological perspective. It is important that we understand all of us have a purpose on this earth.

"And the water in the skin was used up, and she placed the boy under one of the shrubs. Then she went and sat down across from him at a distance of about a bowshot; for she said to herself, “Let me not see the death of the boy.” So, she sat opposite him and lifted her voice and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.
