 In our last session, we explored how sexual temptation, though biological in nature, has a spiritual origin. Like a poisonous arrow, the forces of darkness target our sexual passions with seductive lies, aiming to undermine our heart’s devotion to God. While temptation itself is not sin, it can open the door to sin if we allow its spiritual poison to find its way into our hearts. This is why the Bible urges us to “guard our hearts” as we “stand firm” in the Spiritual Battle that is simultaneously taking place all around us in both the seen and unseen realms. But what exactly is this “Spiritual Battle” behind sexual temptation? Is it about “breaking strongholds” and casting out demons, or is there something deeper?  Join us in part two of our talk on Sexual Temptation, as we examine the nature of the Spiritual Battle and why understanding it is so crucial in resisting temptation.
