You are clean because of these words I have spoken to you
What if the purest form of yourself already exists beneath all the accumulated layers of fear, doubt, and attachment? Jesus's profound statement "you are clean because of the word I have spoken into you" holds a transformative truth that transcends religious boundaries.
This cosmic "word" isn't merely language but the foundational vibration that quantum physicists, Buddhists chanting "Om," and Christians ending prayers with "Amen" all recognize—though through different lenses. When we quiet our minds enough, we can hear this subtle internal humming that sustains our very existence. The revolutionary understanding is that we don't need to become clean or worthy; we already are at our core. Our spiritual journey involves stripping away what obscures this divine vibration rather than adding something new.
The metaphor of cutting fruitless branches to allow fruitful ones to flourish perfectly illustrates how alignment works in our daily lives. When we pursue paths that aren't meant for us—pushing uphill against divine guidance out of fear or attachment—we struggle unnecessarily. Conversely, when we follow our true calling, even challenges feel supported by a greater flow. This doesn't require perfect alignment before taking action. In fact, I share how I've applied this principle to my own creative journey, transitioning from music production to DJing and organizing community events without waiting for perfect conditions.
The practical Five Second Rule provides a powerful tool for breaking through resistance: when divine inspiration strikes, count down from five and take immediate physical action before your mind talks you out of it. As alignment deepens, you'll need less willpower because you're naturally flowing with rather than against your divine nature.
Join our growing community exploring these principles through our members club, weekly calls, and upcoming events in Austin, New York, and Bali. Experience firsthand how cutting what doesn't bear fruit creates space for unprecedented growth in your life and work. What fruitless branch might you need to release today?

you are clean because of the word I have spoken into you, or something like that is what Jesus said to.
Speaker 1:I think it was Matthew, yeah, I believe it's Matthew 15, 3. You are clean because of the word I've spoken into you. And then he goes on to talk about how there are branches Jesus is divine and there's branches, and the word or God cuts the branches that do not bear fruit so that branches that do bear fruit can grow in their place, and then you have a tree full of fruit, which is the topic of today's video. Fruit, which is the topic of today's video. Welcome back to the 8am show podcast video channel thing with your host Arlen, where we are just breaking down this entire philosophy, value system behind the brand 8am, as I develop it out, which is comprised around the three values alignment, alignment under God or, if you are atheist, alignment with the energy, power, force, flow of the universe, and that's number one. Number two is creation. So, once you are aligned, creating things that are unique to you, that are original, that are meant for you to create, that are original, that are meant for you to create. And then connection, and basically how to connect, who to connect with and how to create relationships that are fruitful, and so that's the whole methodology behind this brand. There's nothing that we need to do, that's too fancy.
Speaker 1:I like to record these on the fly. I like to do them, sometimes in a car, sometimes maybe out in nature, and just do them, just rip them straight from my phone. It's the most real and raw way to do it. And so in today's video we're talking about that quote, because this morning I came out here where I'm recording again. I've been doing this the past like week or so, just recording these every day from same spot in this parking parking lot looking out of my favorite beach in the world, and this morning I opened up and I read that line. I was like I really like this verse. I really like this verse and you know it's obviously Easter last week, although I'm a Jew and I also really appreciate Islam and Hinduism and also atheism, so like I'm kind of somewhere in the middle. But when we're talking about alignment, you know Jesus was like a pretty aligned guy and we're in like an Easter kind of thing. I'll do a lot more like Islamic, sufis type stuff as well and Jewish stuff at some point in these episodes, but right now we're just focusing on Jesus. I'm even wearing a cross around my neck as I, as I, as I write this, record this and talk about alignment and so yeah, so, so what does that mean? You are clean because of the word I've spoken into you. And then, of course, something about the branches that some bear fruit, some don't bear fruit, right? So in my understanding, in my intuitive understanding, I'm pretty in alignment with Yogananda Paramahansa.
Speaker 1:Yogananda who, if you really think about it, he's basically just a priest. Like, there's pretty much no difference between Yogananda and a priest. He's just interpreting the scripture the way that he perceives. And if you read the autobiography of a yogi, which is his book, it's pretty fantastic and transformative. It was Steve Jobs' favorite book, george Harrison's favorite book from the Beatles, but he also had a whole volume series where he took everything Jesus said and he analyzed it and he basically said this is what he actually meant when he said this, because Jesus was always talking in metaphor and allegory and all these different things that for most people, they read it and they're like, oh, he said, I'm the way, the truth and the light, but like there's so many layers to that and there's like there's a deeper spiritual meaning that if you really reflect on it, you go inward, you ask your heart, you ask God what does this actually mean? Well, if you're really aligned and tapped in, you can see it. But if you're not, you're kind of like a wet matchstick. If you're reading scripture with a busy mind and with insecurity and fear running around all over the place, you're going to read what Jesus said and you're just it's not going to land. It's just not going to land. And someone like Yogananda was super clear. You know, he lived a super borderline, perfect life and he interprets it and you read it and you're like oh, and the more clean and clear you get, the more it resonates with you and the more you realize shit, there's. This is not what I thought it meant.
Speaker 1:So the word right, what is the word? Well, in my understanding, the word of God is the cosmic vibration of OM. So if you look at like Buddhists right, they're always chanting OM. However, if you also look at Christians, they're talking about AMEN, amen, amen, om, right. So the Christians are kind of doing this similar vibratory thing at the end of every prayer. The Buddhists are doing it.
Speaker 1:And then you also have the quantum physicists who are saying that, basically, the basis of everything is just vibration, right, and if you are quiet enough, if you're in a room and quiet enough and you close your ears, you can actually hear this bass vibration that is kind of inward, it's like an inward sound that's kind of humming, and that is the hum, that is the ohm, that is the sound of God that's reverberating and sustaining the entire universe, including your soul and your life, including your soul and your life. So when we're talking about the word of God, we're talking about the frequency, the vibration of God, the frequency that comes out of the nothingness of uncreation and into creation, and so that's what the spoken word is. And so when Jesus says you are already clean because of the word that I've spoken to you, what he's saying is the word, which is the vibration, is already in you, so you are already clean. Your base vibration is the vibration of God, which is the most pure, high vibration there is. If you watched yesterday's video, which was about the scale of consciousness we're talking about, your base vibration is, you know, scale 1000. Like it is there, but the thing is you get, you have all these layers on top of it and different sort of energetic frequencies lingering around because we just hold on to things. Our tendency as humans is something bad happens, something fearful happens, something you did, you wish, you didn't do, and you hold on to it and you keep it in you. This is in the you know, ancient Hindu scriptures. They call it a sanskara.
Speaker 1:In Christianity we talk about constantly asking for forgiveness, constantly redeeming for your sins, and sinning is really anything. Well, what sinning means? Right, the word sin means off the mark. So anytime you're sinning, you are basically off the mark and you're holding on to dense, darker, more lower vibration energy. But, as Jesus says, you are clean because of the word I have spoken to you and he's obviously speaking as the omnipresent God, through the man Jesus, through the son Jesus, uh, but he's speaking as God. So he's saying God is saying through Jesus. Um, I have spoken the frequency Ohm. You know I've spoken the word to you and it's in you and so you are already clear.
Speaker 1:But yet you, as you are consistently off the mark over and over again every day, you're just constantly in this like upward sort of path where you're trying to just not go downward, you're trying to go upward by letting go. The path of letting go is a path upward to God, and so when you focus on, you know, living in like the straight and narrow path, or is it winding and narrow the path of God? I forget which one it is, but when you focus on that at least I noticed in my life when I focus on it it's very, um, you do tend to like, when you're really obedient, to like the energy that you're feeling within you and where God is guiding you to go, you do tend to notice there's like certain things that really bear fruit. Where you don't like, you exert effort but, like Jesus said, if you have the faith of a mustard seed, that's all you need to move a whole mountain right or something along those lines, not the best, like scripture quota, but getting the essence of it right. So when you even just have a little bit of it, like a little bit of faith, and you're following a little bit, it's so much easier to push forward.
Speaker 1:Every day. When you're going the wrong direction, you're going the path of like sin, you're going against the mark, against the grain. It's difficult, it's challenging and you just kind of. You just kind of you're just not getting it right, you're just off, and things are much more challenging, much more difficult. It feels like you're pushing everything uphill instead of going downhill. So when you're doing that, you're basically going toward trying to grow in areas that just don't need to be grown, that just shouldn't be grown, and this is like I think it's an important thing to reflect.
Speaker 1:Maybe you comment below if this is coming up anything in your life where you feel like you're pushing really hard at something but it's just not meant to be, and you kind of know it in your heart, but you're just pushing anyway because maybe you're attached to it. You're resisting that. It's you're resisting God. You're basically fighting God. There's something else that you should be doing and you're afraid, and so this is, this is, this is basically what Jesus was talking about with that whole idea of like going like. When you focus on God, you essentially naturally cut the branches that don't bear fruit and you only focus on the things that do bear fruit. And when you do focus on the things that bear fruit and you live the, the, the life, and you're obedient to the callings on your heart, from this frequency, vibration of the word, of that, of that vibration that you feel in your body is guiding you on a day-to-day basis when you're doing that.
Speaker 1:The last part of this like story paragraph in 15, I think it's Matthew 15 or John 15. I don't know which one it is it's something along the lines of like asking it will be given, like basically, all you have to do is just ask and it'll just happen. Because when you're on the path, that's the path that's like aided by the greater God force of the universe, and things just kind of unfold very easily. So so, yeah, that's kind of the essence of the meaning of that. And what I wanted to talk about there is, like, obviously, like on the path of alignment, you're not going to be aligned like overnight, like it's kind of. Like I said, it's long, it's a long path, and so I think this can kind of lead people into a bit of like perfection or analysis paralysis, where they think that they have to be like perfectly spiritually clean before they take action. But that's totally not the case. The more action that you take, the more, I think, karma you kind of rip through, the more kind of like some scars that you kind of rip off, and it happens more easily. But by all means, you know you don't need to like wait until things are perfect until you think, until things feel perfectly aligned for you to start creating. You should start creating immediately. Start creating immediately.
Speaker 1:And there's a tool that I've always used in creation, and this is like the other part of this video, which is called the show, which is called the five second rule. There's a book called the five second rule by Mel Robbins, and I'll just give you the essence of the idea, so you don't even have to read the book. The basic idea is this when you have an instinct in your heart, in your mind, in your body this is essentially an instruction from God, or the all powerful flow that is governing the entire energetic frequency of the cosmos and quantum universe right, you get. You get an instinct, you get an intuition, you get a download. I should do that.
Speaker 1:As soon as that pops in, you take a physical action. You start counting down from five first. Then you take a physical action in the direction of doing that thing. So let's say, you wake up and you're like, ah, I should get out of bed. This actually happened to me this morning. I should get out of bed, but then it's like I don't know. I don't know if I want to do it. You kind of talk yourself back into staying in the bed. So instead, the new thing is okay, you feel this like instinct from God to do something. Countdown, five, four, three and then you actually make a physical action. You swing your legs over the bed and you just do the action before you can convince yourself out of it. So the key is that you do the physical movement before your mind tricks you into staying in bed longer or whatever, going against your word. So this is like this is, this is, I think, a super helpful thing to do on the process of, like spiritual growth is like do the five.
Speaker 1:Second rule on the path to like getting into total alignment, what I've found is that, like, the more alignment that I go into, the less willpower I need, because you're just constantly um, you're, you're just constantly aligned and so everything is like I said, it's just flowing. Like you, you have a lot more faith in the direction that you're going in, even if it's completely unknown and scary. But you have faith in it and you're just trusting it and because of that, it just requires less willpower and effort to convince yourself to do anything. So that's um, that's kind of like the basic tool rhythm. That that I found is very useful that, to be completely honest, because I feel I've gotten like very aligned in the last like several years. I haven't used that much, but it definitely is very helpful on like the beginning of the path. So so yeah, these are. These are some things on my mind today that I just wanted to share. Then the next few days I have some other things that are happening that I'd like to go into as we sort of transition to just like the more conversational aspect of this video. So and I guess this will kind of apply right, because I am obviously I spent all of 2024 DJ, not DJ spent all of 2024 producing an album, the it Am album, and I had told myself that you know, I wanted to do this like big release party, and what's funny is that you know, I put all this work into this album but I just didn't really I felt like I didn't have the you know the capacity to throw a release party at the scale that I really wanted to.
Speaker 1:I just didn't have like the financial backing to do it. But my friend hit me up who runs a record label in Sweden Stockholm, which is like the electronic music capital of the world and he hit me up and he was like Yo, we should do a. I want you to DJ my birthday party. And I was like, bro, let's rip. So he invited me and I did it and I was actually super nervous because I think people kind of just tend to assume that if you have produced a house album that you know how to DJ, but DJing is like it's like playing the piano and, let's say, you spent your whole life playing guitar. Doesn't matter how good you are at guitar, like you're not going to be good at piano. So so I basically just um, you know I I went up there and I did my best. I actually think I did a pretty good job. I was just definitely stressed but, like you know, I did well. I did well, right, I ended up DJing again in San Diego and La Jolla and it was very fun.
Speaker 1:It was great that when I was a bit more confident and I have some more reps under my belt and now I want to start doing these like once a month where I'm like DJing a party and it it's like an event or an experience all having to do with the 8am members club or 8am community, and so that's something that I'm going to be doing this weekend. So in two days I'm flying to Austin and I'm gonna I'm actually going to meet up with my friend, quasi, who's just hosting like a guy's weekend. Quasi is a big YouTuber. He has a. He liked these videos. You probably like his videos as well. He does like spiritual kind of esoteric wisdom type stuff for for business people, but but yeah, so he's been like a friend of mine for a while and we're gonna go do like a guy's weekend in in Austin. And I was like, well, why don't I put together an event? Because I've never been to Austin, I might as well do it. So I started putting together a team that's like super experienced at throwing events and experiences and we are getting that together for this Saturday.
Speaker 1:This Saturday, april 26, is the date between five and 1130pm. It's gonna be a really cool experience where we kind of break down everything in these videos in a real life, in person event. If you want to go, it's free. Videos in a real life in person event. If you want to go, it's free. Direct message me on Instagram the words Austin and I will respond to you with the link to sign up to attend and you can send it to your friends. Everyone has to fill out a party party full invite, etc. But that's gonna be really cool. That is this weekend. I'm very, very excited about it.
Speaker 1:But applying it to like the topic of this video, right, like I'm like I'm DJing this thing I've I've gotten a lot more experience DJing and like I can definitely do it to the point where I'm not super stressed about it. You know, like I'm actually pretty confident in my skills and abilities. It's not where I want to be at yet in terms of like performing the music that I like to make, but it is. It's something that you kind of just have to do, right, you just have to like put yourself out there and that's like the very normal way of explaining it. But applying it to like the whole, you are clean. You know, because of the word I've spoken into you, I got this. It's kind of a whole amalgamation of everything we've talked about.
Speaker 1:Like I had this idea and I immediately started taking action on it. I was like, Alright, I'm just gonna put this together. You know, I've never been to Austin. I don't know how to throw an event there. I've never done something like this where I had to actually put on the event, like get all the equipment, spend all the money on it and everything. But I was like I'm going to do it. So I started putting it together, put a team together and it just started flowing and I put up the thing on Instagram.
Speaker 1:It's gotten a lot of traction so far. I think we'll probably have, I think we'll probably have around 100 people, we'll see, and there's going to be sushi, there's going to be, obviously, me performing a set and some other stuff and potentially some special guests and stuff like that, which I'm pretty excited for. So it's going to be. It's going to be really, really cool Overall experience and yeah, I mean I hope that it bears fruit. It feels like it's bearing fruit, like it feels super aligned with everything that I've been kind of sharing and talking about here, as far as, like a branch that is bearing fruit feels as though it's kind of charged with the, the word, and I hope to see you there. I hope to see you there, if you're not at this one. I'm definitely going to be doing more. I'll be doing some. I'll be doing one in May in New York and I plan to do another one in Bali and like end of May or June. So, looking forward to hopefully seeing a lot of you guys over the next few months.
Speaker 1:And, yeah, if you haven't yet applied to the 8am members club, but you're a creative, you're a founder, you're in business, you're doing something, you're creating something on the internet, I invite you to apply to the 8am members club, which is the members club that I'm building. It's all under the 8am brand and, yeah, you should apply. Share what you're building. This is not a coaching community. I want to make that very clear. This is just people that are kind of gravitating around these principles and this sort of brand ideology and just creating cool stuff at the conjunction of, like, making money on the internet, living life on your own terms, spirituality, new technology, ai, agents, all this kind of stuff. So, yeah, that's kind of the main idea for today.
Speaker 1:I think, um, I think the rest of the day. I've got my, my grapefruit juice. I think I may have a sip of this. I got a coconut water and a grapefruit juice right now and I kind of feel like kind of feel like there's one more topic that that's important to share. It's cloudy right now. It's it kind of has. It's one of those days where it hasn't past few days. I guess spring is sort of like this, where it can't really decide if it wants to be sunny or foggy or rainy, like it's somewhere in the middle. But it feels like. It feels like here's the thing.
Speaker 1:It feels like a lot of people right now are going through like similar energetic cleansing as is sort of like the whole entire world, like there's a lot of things that are being brought to the surface. There's a lot like what I'm kind of sensing, in my life at least. It's like the old paradigm of like the last three to four years just doesn't work anymore, like it just straight up doesn't work and you have to like replace all of the fraud, fakeness in your own life and in your own standards and what you tolerate with just higher standards of what you know you deserve, of what you know you deserve and you have to. And that's like like being unaligned is just so viscerally different now than when you hit a higher level and you actually do feel alignment in your life that it's like night and day, like it's just totally um, totally like different. You know you just totally feel um tapped in, and when you're not tapped in, it's like extremely clear and you know that you can't fall back into like old patterns.
Speaker 1:That's the, that's the kind of like, that, that's, that's the like, lingering thing. Like you, you basically know that you can't try to bear fruit on a branch that isn't meant to be, um fruit on a branch that isn't meant to be, um, have fruit bared upon it, if that makes sense. So, yeah, that's, uh, that's the main message for today. Um, if you enjoyed this video, and you're enjoying these videos and these episodes, please share them on your, your story or with a friend that you think would like them. Drop a comment, drop a thumbs up, and I hope to see you at the event in Austin, if not that one New York, or if not, on the in the virtual community we do weekly calls, all that kind of stuff, and stream the 8am album. All right, guys, I'll see you in the next video, peace.
