ONLY Spiritually Aligned Entrepreneurs will Succeed

Arlin Season 2 Episode 13

Send us a text

We explore the powerful ROI of spiritual practices for entrepreneurs, revealing how meditation isn't just a tool for success but is itself the success you're seeking.

• Spiritual alignment is the ultimate success – like sitting on a box of gold coins while asking how to become wealthy
• Most entrepreneurs are either surrounded by spiritually dead colleagues or are the lone ambitious person in their network
• Starting your day with meditation instead of checking emails creates natural flow and synchronicity in your business
• Ideas and creative downloads often come in the quiet moments after meditation, from a place of non-forcing
• Breaking the "do-everything-preneur" syndrome by harmonizing your skills and learning to relinquish control
• Treating even mundane business tasks as spiritual practice – emails, logistics, and details become acts of surrender
• The paradox: when you prioritize spiritual alignment, external business success follows naturally
• Escape velocity comes from divine flow, not just grinding harder

Speaker 1:

What's up guys? So welcome back to the channel. I was about I was about to lock in to finishing up a song while I'm sitting out here in the sun, and I wanted to record this video on the impact this is a question's very large b on me um, the the roi of um, spiritual alignment, spiritual practices, meditation on your actual entrepreneurial venture or whatever creative venture you're you're doing. Like, what's the actual tangible impact of meditating and focusing on getting spiritually aligned? In the first place and this is definitely this video is for any entrepreneur that feels like they're kind of endlessly grinding, also feels like maybe their circle isn't quite on the same frequency as them. Um, there, there's either, typically I've found there's there's people that, like they're in the entrepreneurial world but everyone around them is kind of like spiritually dead, so they're like in Adderall loops or you know, just don't care about, like, like they, basically money is their God. Or there's people who are the only creative person, only ambitious person in their network and that's also a problem. And so when you start to make you know spirituality, meditation, a focus of your creative work, um it, I have found there's a huge ROI. So the very first thing, um that I found I'm just reviewing my notes here is that the first thing to realize is that spiritual alignment and doing spiritual work whether in a creative venture, making music, making art, making a business the spiritual work that you do is the success. That's the first like rewiring. It's not, again, it's not that you meditate in order to make more money or in order to get an ROI. The ROI is doing meditation Like that's. That's like the, the beggar who's sitting on a box of cold gold coins. That's where this question is coming from. Like you're, you're asking about how to make an ROI on something. That is the ROI. That's like making a really profitable trade, putting the money in your account and being like, okay, so what's the ROI? It's like, well, you just got it, like it's just there. So that's like that's like the very first paradoxical truth here, you know, because you're already sitting on a mountain of peace and most entrepreneurs or most people are either completely dead to that and they, you know, they're not listening to their calling at all, or they're like hyper, listening to the calling but it's taking over the rest of their life and they're out of balance and that actually takes them past the phase of alignment. So spiritual alignment is the success.

Speaker 1:

And then I'm also working on something else called the scrolls, which is like Everything that I've learned on this journey Distilled into like scrolls, and that's what this is all free the scrolls incension manual. There's an entry fee for 8am world, but you should apply.

Speaker 1:

So, going into the rest of this video, um, the very first part of like practically achieving this and realizing spiritual alignment in the pursuit of like whatever you're doing entrepreneurially is to switch up the routine where you wake up and check your phone and start answering Slack messages or checking sales leads or whatever, even going straight into creativity. The first thing to do if you would like to kind of step into a new paradigm is to fully know that, to be successful, all you have to do is meditate first thing in the morning for like 30 minutes and then the rest of your day is a bonus. It's like the ultimate. It's the ultimate paradigm shift. Like you, you wake up, you thank God for another day and you step into the peace and joy that you can get only from meditation, only from sitting still in peace. You can't be doing other things right Like you have to get into the peace and joy that you can get only from meditation, only from sitting still in peace. You can't be doing other things right Like you have to get into the state of devotion and if you do that first thing, it has some amazing like spillover effects into every other thing that you're doing from the state of peace and joy that you contact in proper meditation and I go over proper, proper meditation in the 8am scrolls. Just go to 8am appcom, fill out the app and it'll get sent to you. Um, the manual. Um is like like, when you do this properly, the rest of your day just naturally flows.

Speaker 1:

I've found that, even like certain like when you're in the state, like even certain meetings get rearranged, you run into people, synchronicities start happening left and right. Uh, especially in in places with like highly kind of, um, entrepreneurially focused types of people. This is like another big part of it. There's like the spiritual side. There's a more practical side, like if you're, if you're, in the middle of nowhere, you know, like midwest us or some random town and in some country that doesn't have like a entrepreneurial community, you're probably not going to have like spiritual kind of coincidences happen beyond like coming across this video. Right, you're probably not going to just run into someone that can give you an idea that shapes the next leg of your creative work or business or whatever it is. So, that being said, you will notice, no matter where you are in the world, when you put meditation first, god contact first, the rest of your day will take on a shape and a flow.

Speaker 1:

When things get rearranged as they naturally do, like most days, you can plan them all you want but, like certain circumstances just open up and close, you're less reactive to them and you're more in that flow. When you're not meditating and things don't go your way as planned, you get really stuck, you know you, and then you try to force the way that you wanted it to happen, instead of just kind of listening to what's unfolding in front of you and just going with that. Like there's obviously much greater forces at play, at least when you, when you, you, when you step into this, this uh realm of like putting meditation and and uh contacting the state of peace and joy first thing in the morning, you realize there's like much greater energies at play than like your own ego wanting to stick to a schedule. So, uh, that that's like. That's.

Speaker 1:

The second point is like ideas. Ideas flow into place too. That's another thing. Like I've found more recently that the more that I really sit into my meditation and then even after I finished the meditation, I don't immediately get up and like go to the next thing. That's typically when I get like visions, like actual downloads and visions or songs will pop into my head. Or you know a new, a new like clothing collection, and it's super subtle and faint. Um, that actually just reminded me I have to write down an idea that hit me this morning. I forgot to write down um for for, uh, an 8am shirt. Um, I'm writing it down. It's like a funny Balinese saying that, uh, I'm here in Bali right now and I had this vision of this shirt this morning, which I thought would be really good, so I just wrote it. Yeah, so that's another really cool thing.

Speaker 1:

I've noticed, like, after you meditate and you just sit in that state of like, peace and joy, that's when the best ideas flow to you, because you're not forcing them, they just appear. Right. If you do this, if you meditate, you start meditating in the first thing in the morning and then you're expecting visions to come. They won't come, it only happens from a place of non-forcing. So that's like the stage I've been going into. I've been doing it so long.

Speaker 1:

This is actually more of a recent thing, I think, actually, and I've been in this mode for over a year, where meditation is like the most important aspect of my day, like if I don't do it, it's just like the day is a failure. You know, it doesn't matter what, like money I make or things I create, like if I don't do the meditation, the day's a failure. You don't step into that state of peace and joy and love. It's like what else is the point, you know? So that's super key. You kind of shift from the stage of like sweating for everything and like trying to force everything to happen your way to being carried in this like extremely powerful, dynamic, relaxed flow. It's like it sounds woo, but it really does feel more like you're floating on a cloud through life than like grinding and forcefully trying to make shit happen the way that you see fit in your brain.

Speaker 1:

So the third point here kind of bridges off this, which is like most entrepreneurs, I think and me included for a while was in this place of thinking that you have to truly like suffer in order to get what you want in in business. You have to like put in all this sweat. And the tricky part is is it's actually true? If you do sweat super hard and you grind super fucking hard, you can make things happen. But I don't think that you can fully hit the extent of what you're meant to do unless you take a more carried approach, like a more divine flow kind of approach, where your work, instead of trying to like force things to happen. You step back, kind of look at the chessboard, and you first start by harmonizing your skills and your place in this creative like zone and this workplace. You first start by like harmonizing your skills.

Speaker 1:

So I think a lot of entrepreneurs, especially people who are like the only creative person in their circle, but also can happen to more of like the people who are in entrepreneurial communities but everyone's like, everyone's like not tapped in. There's this, this thing I noticed where there's like do everything preneurs. Sam Ovens OG Sam Ovens talked about the neurotic do everything preneur and this comes from really not being spiritually tapped in and being able to relinquish control. That's a huge aspect of like. Being tapped in is like you're able to relinquish control and also even certain revenue in your business. Like you realize it's not all about you. You realize that you can bring people in that are better than you at certain aspects and you're able to shift into the thing that you're best at, like what's your zone of genius? Shifting into that flow and that becomes like the only thing that you have to do and focus on.

Speaker 1:

And so another aspect of this is like there will be times where it's not like you're you know even me like I'm not all the time sitting down and like just making music or like designing clothes or shooting videos like this, even, which is a more expressive, creative thing, there's a lot of times I have to sit down and do like logistical things send emails, look at agreements, legal work, like there's, there's a lot of stuff like that. But when you're in a state of spiritual alignment, all of it like all of it is part of this more divine, divinely like spiritual sort of feeling, uh, plan, like you're even the even like typing out a boring logistical email or reading an agreement is an act of uh, as Michael Singer would say, is an act of surrender. Like even you know having to do shitty things like firing someone or like cut parting ways with a business partner, you know, these are all actually very spiritual things. You're learning lessons. The energy is kind of moving up and down your chakra system in and around areas that feel boring or annoying or oh, I'm better than this, I should, I'm a creative person, I shouldn't be doing this dumb shit. The more you get past that and you kind of humble yourself and you just you do what is asked of you in the moment. You harmonize with that. That's. I think that that's also something where you like really, really tap in. So, um, yeah, it's.

Speaker 1:

It's a paradox because, like everything I'm describing here, if you float, if you like, start aligning yourself into this, you start meditating first thing, realizing that's success. Then you start positioning yourself correctly in the business, in accordance to your zone of genius, and allowing others to take more control in areas where maybe you were a control freak. Then you also start treating even the minuscule tasks, like the details, as part of your calling, as part of, like the practice, and you treat every aspect with like reverence and you let this sort of piece that's coming from your soul that you got from the meditation, go into every aspect of everything that you touch and everything that's put in front of you. Paradoxically, you will grow in business. So there is an ROI at the end of it, of course.

Speaker 1:

Like I think you really only reach a terminal, like escape velocity, if you do this. There's no, not really any other way. Like you'll hit a ceiling if you're forcefully doing it on your own, you know, uh, forcing everything to happen your way, that old, that paradigm just doesn't, doesn't fly, uh, so so that's, um, that's the main thing here. Um, if you resonated with this click link in the description, go to 8amappcom. You'll get the 8am Ascension Manual after you apply.
