How to Shift Realities and Collapse Time
The two paradigms of existence determine our level of fulfillment, with the first focused on external validation and the second centered on internal alignment. We uncover why chasing external achievements like money, relationships, and status never satisfies our deepest longings, and how shifting to the inner game transforms everything.
• The first paradigm traps us in endless pursuit of external validation
• External achievements create temporary satisfaction but never resolve the underlying emptiness
• The chakra system provides a verifiable map of our internal energy centers
• When something is uncomfortable, relaxing into it rather than fixing it externally
• Relationships serve as perfect practice grounds for internal acceptance
• Surrendering to discomfort releases energy blockages and allows natural flow
• Meditation helps clear energy channels and access innate blissful states
• Following inner guidance may require uncomfortable external changes
• Like a beggar sitting on a box of gold, we already possess everything we need

So there's only two games or two paradigms that exist in this realm that we find ourselves in, and in this video I want to talk about what those two paradigm shifts, what those two paradigms are, what those two games are, and how to move from the materialistic, focused and endless misery that is the first game, the first paradigm, and how to transcend that and move into the second paradigm. And when you make this shift, you truly are able to completely jump reality, jump destiny, collapse time, and I haven't seen very many people talk about how to do this. I don't think many people have figured this out. I don't think many, really. Anyone, at least in the internet entrepreneur space, which I feel is mostly who I'm talking to in these videos, has figured this out, and part of the reason is because it just requires relinquishing a lot of attachment to the validation of what the first game brings. So a little bit about where I'm coming from. So my name is Arlen.
Speaker 1:Over the last 10 years, I have built some success in the online space. I had a YouTube channel that I started about a decade ago. I made some millions of dollars from whether it was my clothing brand or my made some millions of dollars from whether it was my clothing brand or my software tool, maxi, or my network business, tribe Accelerator or, you know, various other kind of ventures along the way, crypto, etc. Pretty much touched everything in the online space and traveled the world, ran, you know, coaching group with several thousand guys and I've seen kind of the inside the minds of thousands of people through Maxi, which was like a mindset improvement tool and all of that. You know, I found myself operating in this first paradigm, which is the paradigm of outward achievement having correlation to your level of success. So, outward achievement having the money, having a girl or girls, having the friend group, the social status, the Instagram page, the, the uh, everything that the outside world can give you, winning the game of the world, the external having all that, however, still feeling like it's not enough. Still feeling like there's something missing, in fact going to an extent of having a nebulous painful weight bearing on your chest. That you think is because your relationship isn't the right one. That you think is because you're not in the right business. That you think is because you haven't traveled enough or you're not making enough money, that maybe the next level is the one where you're finally going to be, you know, happy, but the truth is none of this is the case. It's nothing external that you can do to solve happiness, and that's why the first paradigm is totally full of misery.
Speaker 1:So, before I go into this, next, the next step entering what? What is the next phase? The next paradigm, the better game to play? If this is interesting to you, if these videos are interesting to you, click the link in the description to apply to 8am World. If you've already applied and you're like you know what, I'm ready to jump in this. I want to fully commit myself to this and to be around other people who are committing themselves to stepping into the second paradigm and joining 8am world, this brotherhood of creative entrepreneurs who are also aligned with God, studying the new tech, applying it to their business, being creative and not sacrificing money for fulfillment of their soul. Then just message me on Instagram if you're ready to jump in, if you've already applied, or if you haven't applied, go to 8amappcom and submit an application.
Speaker 1:So, the second paradigm this is much better game to play and it is the internal game. Okay, so what does it look like? Well, when you actually close your eyes, you can kind of do this with me right now, unless you're driving, of course, what you see is quite literally black right, it's darkness. If you've been outside for a while, you might see various shapes and everything, but it's dark. And then if you kind of go inward, even further down into your body system and you can do this with eyes open as well you can feel there's different sensations or sensations in your chest, sensations in your you know groin area, in your gut, in your solar plexus, which is like the vulnerable point at your sternum. You might feel certain sensations in your throat, in your brain, in your head. You feel everything, you know all these different sensations throughout your body, feel everything, you know all these different sensations throughout your body. And this is the realm of the inner game. You know, it's the inner workings of the inner world.
Speaker 1:And what you do when you start playing the inner game is you realize you've actually been playing the inner game the whole time. You just haven't known the rules. You've been playing the inner game the whole time. You just didn't know what the rules were. And you have been thinking that if I achieve this level of revenue, if I achieve this relationship, if I achieve this happiness, the inspiration that I'm after, and if you notice, you're trying to solve external things. You're trying to achieve an internal state, some emotion of happiness or joy or whatever it is, by external means, and that's why it doesn't work. The rules don't work like that. You don't change the external to achieve internal states. You have to first start with the internal and then the external is like the fruit. Okay.
Speaker 1:So in that first paradigm is there's a lot of like people that basically find themselves and they kind of like, make this fatal error where they start off and they go OK, I don't feel joy or happiness, I don't feel great about where I'm at in life. My physical, you know world is just not good. I'm not in a good place where I'm living. I don't like where I'm living, I don't like my friends, I don't like my, I don't like my work, whatever. They're unfulfilled and they're like this is the problem, my life is the problem, my outer life is the problem. And so they start trying to change all that stuff. But what they didn't realize is that they stepped over the initial thing, which is that something is wrong in the first place. And when you enter the second paradigm, you, instead of trying to fix things externally, you start going inward and you go okay, wait, what's actually wrong here and why is there something off? Why is there something off in the first place? And so you know people that are entering the second paradigm, like like myself.
Speaker 1:You know, at the end of 2023, I had achieved a lot of external things. I had had the. You know, at least on the surface, what would look like the dream life, right. But at the end of the day, at night, I'd wake up and I was just still anxious and I was still like the circumstances, if they weren't perfect, my girlfriend didn't talk to me the right way, if my business didn't make the right amount of money that day or month, if I didn't get the certain amount of validation from certain photos that I was posting, or my business started changing because of AI, all that external change would really throw me off my game.
Speaker 1:And it wasn't until I really discovered, you know, going more on this internal path, learning from people like Paramahansa Yogananda, who is the author of the Autobiography of a Yogi and he was Steve Jobs' favorite guru author, and he was Steve Jobs' favorite guru author. I shouldn't say favorite guru, he was Steve Jobs' guru. There's a difference, and I invested in a lot of different kind of mentors and coaching. Someone who really helped me out a lot was a guy named Alan Howard who really helped me kind of pick up a really major piece of this internal game. I would also say that you know Michael Singer another very helpful piece along the path Michael Murray, michael J Murray, mike of Wisdom on Instagram, along with a lot of like personal experiences.
Speaker 1:You know, having put together the, put shut down my business and put together the entire 8am album, was an entire spiritual experience in and of itself. Chloe, who you know has taught me so many lessons about surrender and life and true loyalty and love than I could ever pick up anywhere else. And so this path, you know, being on this path, I learned and I also spent a serious amount of time in meditation, like I was waking up every day, meditating for an hour with specific protocol for you know, a year for a year, and I still meditating for 30, 40 minutes every single morning and 15, 20 minutes at night. And so doing this, when you go internal and you look at what's going on in your system, you develop a lot of different levels of understanding. Okay, and so the first thing I think I learned throughout this journey to really share with you is that the chakras are real. Okay, so the chakras are. You know them as points in the body, right, and even if you're Christian or Muslim or Jewish, even though chakras are kind of like a Hindu type understanding of the energy systems in the body, they're very easy to verify. It's not a woo-woo thing.
Speaker 1:For example, if I ask you you know, where do you feel sexual arousal? You guess you feel in multiple different areas, but the main place you feel it is in your groin region right Now. If I ask you, where do you feel inspiration? Like an idea that hits you in the middle of the night, a thought, well, it comes in your head. What if I ask you, where do you feel love? Right, where do you feel love? You feel it in your heart. Your heart gets all warm. And what if I ask you, where do you feel something doesn't go your way and it's very frustrating, right? You're just pissed off. Typically, you kind of feel in your solar plexus. It's like a center of power and control. What about when I ask if you feel like you want to say something but you're just afraid to say it? You feel what you feel, choked up, kind of happens in your throat region. So all of these different real things that you can feel on a day-to-day basis.
Speaker 1:You feel a certain flow of energy within your body system. Okay, and this, this, even as I'm talking right now, you know I have a pretty clear channel. My channels are quite clear. I can say what I want. I don't have to think that much. Of course I have my notes on the side here, but I don't have to think that much and things just flow right. And there's certain circumstances in which your energy flows in easier ways when you're doing certain things. But the goal of the inner game is to make it so that your energy is pretty much flowing from inward to outward in a very blissful way all the time. And you know, people take psychedelics, they take mushrooms. They say that what happens when you take these mushrooms is that it basically unblocks you temporarily. It unblocks all of your energy centers, so the energy can can just naturally flow and it like inhibits the blockages. And so imagine a state where basically all the time, you're just feeling this bliss.
Speaker 1:And this is what the great masters and the great yogis are talking about when they tell stories of like a beggar who realized he was sitting on a box of gold his whole life. You know he was sitting there and he was Eckhart Tolle talks about this. He was on the box, he was begging. He's an old man, he was a beggar ever since he was a little kid. Then someone walked across, noticed him and said, hey, have you ever looked at what you're sitting on? And he's like no, it's just an old box. I've been sitting on this my whole life. And he says well, why don't you look inside? And he looks inside, he opens it up and he realizes that there's just gold sitting on a box of gold. So that's what the inner game is about. But you have to look inside.
Speaker 1:And so this inner game, the reason it is so much more fulfilling, is because when you make progress on the inner path, it just it affects every area of your life in a better way. You notice that you things that used to be really challenging or difficult for you, they actually start to become easier. And part of the reason is because, to play the inner game, the rules are quite simple, but the reverse of the primary game, the first paradigm, so the second game. What you do is when something is uncomfortable to you instead of trying to fix it right. So you're like, oh man, you know, I don't, I don't make enough money. Instead of trying to make more money, you sit with that feeling of not having enough money and you allow it to be there and you relax. So in the second paradigm, what you do is you relax into whatever the pain is that you're feeling in that moment.
Speaker 1:I think a more tangible example is like relationships are really good area to practice this in, because we often attract someone. You know that obviously, initially we're super excited about one of our best kind of our reticular activation system is looking for every positive quality about this person while trying to present every positive quality of ourselves. So you have two people that are looking for the best in each other and presenting their best at the beginning and then over time, you know, you start to get a little lazy. You start to show maybe the lesser parts of yourself same with the other person and then what happens is you start to focus on more of the negative in the other person and because of this you have conflict and things start to clash. And this is a perfect opportunity to practice the second paradigm, which is basically when something external bothers you, something your partner says, something they do, some behavior they exhibit.
Speaker 1:Instead of trying to change them, you ask yourself what can I change about myself? And most of the time, it's to focus on letting go, accepting the other person, accepting them in their mood, accepting them in whatever it is they did, and still being loving despite the external right. Another example of this can be in you know work right, so of course, you might have maybe a sales call and it doesn't go exactly as you planned and maybe you have a really tough stint of sales calls where it's just really challenging. You keep getting rejected. So you can look at that as like something to dwell in and be in pain in, or you can take the other route, the second paradigm game, which is to simply relax, look at the failure and release and just be okay with it, be in acceptance of it, surrender to it.
Speaker 1:From a larger perspective, I think probably what I was dealing with more directly within work was like I just felt like I wasn't totally excited about what I was doing was like I just felt like I wasn't totally excited about what I was doing and so I, instead of trying to force it and incrementally change a system that I wasn't totally happy with. I paused and in fact I actually did something external in this case which was scary for me but I paused and shut down the entire business. I don't think in retrospect, I had to do that, but that was at least what I felt I had to do then, and in doing so, what I realized is that it just wasn't the best use of my, of what I wanted to do with my time and my energy, and so sometimes what's interesting in the second game is when you make this pause and you first start to accept what the outer circumstances are in your life. You first start to accept what the outer circumstances are in your life, then it might open up a new pathway. When you start to surrender to any circumstance being okay on the external and you're willing to be used by God to do anything, by the divine force that animates you, that gives you life, that gives you power to do anything, when you're willing to do anything by the divine force that animates you, that gives you life, that gives you power to do anything, when you're willing to do anything in service, then new ideas and new opportunities can become available to you in your conscious. So you might be in the old paradigm because you're so focused on how this thing makes money so I have to do that thing. Right, this business is really good and it's making money, so I have to do it, and the money makes me happy and the money keeps my girlfriend around and the money keeps me so that I can have freedom, and you're only focused on that, whereas if you surrender to it and you look at, is this really what I'm being called to do or is there something else I'm being called to do, even though it might be uncomfortable, right? So if this is making sense, if you have any questions about this, please leave a comment below.
Speaker 1:But this is essentially the paradigm. It's surrendering to things that are discomforting in the external and allowing and releasing and relaxing in the face of that discomfort, so that what happens is you have all these internal things that are blocking that flow of energy and they're causing the external things to hit those internal blockages and cause friction and cause pain, but the more that when those external things hit those blockages, you release the blockages, the energy can just flow, energy can just flow. And so that's the second paradigm and this is really. You know this is really what it's all about. Okay and it's a great question that I'll leave you with here is you know you can ask yourself, you know, in the face of all the desires that you have you may have, obviously, certain desires it's not, I think, to become necessarily desireless, like you're always going to have things that are kind of put across your plate that you either want to do or don't desire to do, but it's being willing to do what life is trying to show you to do in this moment, and this really takes a lot of inner work to kind of tap into this instinct and this intuition.
Speaker 1:But the more that you practice, the more that you meditate, the more that this becomes more and more clear. So this is something you want to work on more intimately with me and with people inside a network that are doing the same thing. Then just apply to 8amappcom.
