Hey, it's Arlen, welcome back to the channel. So a couple weeks ago I got back from Bali and it was tail end of my trip there. You guys know I love Bali. I've been going for the last six, seven years of my life. I've been about five times. I love it. I love the ocean, I love people, I love the food. The gyms are immaculate they're the best gyms in the world and the nature you can't beat the nature. It's by far one of my favorite places to be. So I get invited to this dinner.
Speaker 1:It was a dinner with, you know, some very successful entrepreneurs and, honestly, people that I was genuinely very excited to connect with. You know the kind of dinner where it's like this founder just sold his company to private equity. This is the biggest YouTube consultant in the world. This guy runs like the best events in Bali. I was throwing an event in Bali for 8am, djing, some parties and stuff, and I was just very excited to meet people and go to this dinner. And so I go and something very unexpected happened. You know I'm there. The guy next to me is a guy named Will Brown who teaches people how to build, grow and then sell a consulting business or a coaching business, which he's only one of three people in the world who's done this, aside from Hormozy and Sam Ovens OG Sam Ovens, who everyone in the coaching space has learned from we start talking about. You know my background and I told him what I was doing now with 8am and I then mentioned that I had this coaching business called Tribe Accelerator that I had shut down, ended it the end of 2023. I had a team of 16 people, 800 global members.
Speaker 1:It was Tribe was the best course, let alone, you know, in the social, you know circle building, space, networking, dating, relationships and personal brand Best course that anyone's ever seen on the planet, bar none for that. But in my opinion, and I think in the opinions of many of anyone who's gone through it, it's the best course period. Like I was telling Will, I was like dude, I poured years. It was like eight iterations deep. I listened to every single minute detail from every customer that went through and the experience that they were having and I made sure that the course and the training system solved every minute problem. And he was like, why'd you stop?
Speaker 1:And I was like, well, I was honestly, I was at like a spiritual kind of inflection point and I was trying to figure out why I was still unfulfilled. You know, I had money, I was traveling, I had a fulfilling, you know, business with tribe, but I was still not not even happy, isn't the right word. I just was, there was. It wasn't really that I wasn't happy, it was more that there was like a gnawing anxiety that something that I was doing was wrong. And that's when I went full time on music, you know, I was going down like the kind of autobiography of a yogi path and revisited, like Christianity and Judaism and like every major faith, to try to find answers, and I started meditating a lot more and I started getting quiet with myself. And then I put out the entire 8am album that, along with the meditation and like really finding God, is what brought back my sense of fulfillment and my soul.
Speaker 1:So I told Will this, as I'm telling you, and he was like yeah, but why did you let go of Tribe? And I was like I don't know, I don't know. And so that was sign number one. So we're going throughout the dinner, right, and there was kind of like a way the dinner was organized and the way that all these different people were brought together and there was a system to it. And I learned later in the dinner that almost every guy at that table not only did they know who I was and they knew about Tribe, but they had been through Tribe Accelerator and the guy who organized the dinner that I was invited to as one of like the high level people that was going to be at the dinner, had used the tribe accelerator system to get me there. So my own system was used on me and I'm talking to Will about it and I'm just like what, the what is this? I was like this is crazy. So after the dinner, you know I was kind of bewildered by that.
Speaker 1:Uh, and you know I ran the Bali event that I was hosting, which was amazing. Uh, videos on this channel, on my, my main channel. Uh, we'll, we'll show what happened to that, which was super fun. Uh, put out like a new single there. The whole entire, you know, the whole entire Bali trip was amazing.
Speaker 1:But I get home from Bali and back in LA, uh, I'm now I'm on Cape Cod, but a couple of weeks ago I'm in LA and I'm messaging will and I'm like dude, I think I'd like to work with you. I don't know what it is. But I think I'd like to work with you. He goes okay, let's do it. So I, you know, I've been building 8am members club. You know, 8am is obviously a more artistic brand and the members club for 8am is not a coaching program. Like is. There's no like, there's not like a specific problem solution. It's mainly for guys who've kind of already, you know, had a certain level of success, whereas with tribe there is a very specific problem solution.
Speaker 1:But with will, I started working with will because I really liked I really liked the way that will was running his business really insane profit margins, like 91% profit margins. And even though 8am was not a coaching program, I figured that will could probably, you know, assist me in building it because he's just a very good business owner. So, and I had, I had a business coach in a while, you know, someone who's made tens of millions and someone that's a bit further along the path than I am. So I started working with Will. Shortly after that, I get a message from a guy named Brian Moncada who's hosting an event in Medellin, and Brian hits me up. He's like yo, do you want to DJ my my event in Medellin in September? And I was like dude, yes, I get booked in, paid rate, getting flown out to Medellin at this like crazy villa. Then I'm going through Will's sort of business coaching program, going through the modules, and there's a video of Brian in the in the course and there's a whole section of Brian's videos. Brian teaches like YouTube ads. It was like the Spider-Man. I'm like wait, wait, wait. I just got invited to Brian's event, brian's in Will's course, will's. I was just like this is just crazy. Yeah, so, long story short, you know we're bringing back Tribe.
Speaker 1:One other little anecdote that that I I want to share was I was on the phone with a couple of the guys and one of them was telling me like this kind of issue that he was going through and I was like dude, did you go through tribe accelerator ever? And he was like no, and I was like bro, you you need, how have you not gone through this? Yet I and I just this whole thing like resurrected. I started going through the tribe accelerator course, just peeking through it, and I'm like this thing is amazing, why did I ever let this go? And on top of all of this, I hate this is the one I like hate to say Sometimes you're in.
Speaker 1:I've been in a relationship for three and a half years and you don't always like to say, ah, you know, my girl was right the whole time. But Chloe had been telling me she's like why did you shut down Tribe? Why did you shut down Tribe? And more recently she's like you need to bring it back. She just kept saying it and it's that female instinct thing that just sees so clearly. And so I'm like ugh, fine, on top of all this, right, I had committed myself and my whole kind of identity and ego was wrapped up in this idea of like I am not a coach anymore, like I'm not this guy that's going to go on and like tell people how to do things. I've transcended that. Like I'm artist, dj, music producer, members, club runner. That's the guy. But if there's anything I've learned on this path of spiritual growth, it's that as soon as you start thinking that your ego or your identity is one way, god can come right in and flip it around. And when there's a place that you can serve, you have to do it, no matter what you think about what it means to be a coach or not be a coach or be this or that. If you're being called and the signs are lining up like they have been for me, you have to bring it back. So we're bringing back tribe.
Speaker 1:So some of you might be wondering, all right, well, what is tribe? How do I know it's for me? Well, tribe solves very specific problems. So if you're a guy who's trying to be successful, trying to build something of themselves, trying to make money, wanting to travel, but all your friends are not in alignment with that, or you don't have friends or you struggle talking to people, you have social anxiety.
