Dr. Matthew Sleeth Bio
Dr. Matthew Sleeth is a former emergency room physician, who resigned his medical position to write, teach, and preach about the connections between faith and health. Currently the Executive Director of Blessed Earth, Dr. Sleeth has spoken at over 1,000 churches and events throughout the country, including serving as a monthly guest preacher at the Washington National Cathedral. Recognized by Newsweek as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders, Dr. Matthew Sleeth is the author of numerous articles and books, including 24/6 and his newest book, Hope Always: How to be a Force for Life in a Culture of Suicide. Dr. Sleeth and his wife have been married for 40 years and now live in Lexington, Kentucky.
