By now, you have heard of the confrontation between a White woman and a Black man in central park. Christian Cooper was the black male birder in the middle of the incident, and the viral video caused many hashtags to be created and a full week dedicated to Black birders. Two hashtags came together for this podcast - #BlackBirdersWeek and #BlackAFinSTEM. For this episode, we share with you some of the backgrounds of Black people in STEM and in birding.
