Show Notes Chapter Markers

There might not be a Eurovision Song Contest this year due to Covid-19 but it doesn't stop us remembering one of the big moments in the show's history. It's 50 years this year since a 17 year old girl from Derry won Eurovision for Ireland. Dana's win with 'All Kinds of Everything' became a huge hit and brought a temporary peace to Northern Ireland which at the time was in the grip of sectarian troubles. MIM's Ashley Byrne catches up with the iconic Irish singer during lockdown.

With thanks to Dana for kind permission to use All Kinds of Everything and tracks from her album 'My Time' (Falling and Shining Light) in this programme.

The Distinct Nostalgia theme is composed by Rebecca Applin and Chris Warner.

The Barry Pigeon Protects Theme is composed by Transmission 13.
