Ep. 269 - Keeping Spare Fuel on The Homestead

Today's show takes a bit of a turn after this morning's experience on the homestead - as Dad came to assist someone who ran out of gas this morning, luckily just down the road. 

We also discuss the nature of the electrical grid, and how it works and distributes electricity across the country.   When we understand how utility companies address outages, we can better assess our own current situations and energy (fuel) requirements. 

If you don't understand why you may need to have stores of fuel on hand, this is a great episode that will get your gears grinding about why storing extra fuel is a good idea.
