Redeeming Love Bible Broadcast
God Is Love (LIVE)
Fear may be loud right now, but love tells a deeper story. We open Scripture to follow a single thread—from the joy of creation to the joy of the cross—and discover how God brings unfinished people into a finished work. Genesis frames the world as an overflow of divine love, not a cold mechanism. John 1 reveals the Word who stepped into our darkness with living light. Hebrews 12 shows the motive at the heart of redemption: joy set before Jesus as He endured the cross and despised its shame.
Across these passages, we explore why life feels like a grind when we try to author it ourselves, and how grace reorients everything. Light exposes what numbs us—pride, fear, endless hustle—and still invites us closer. “It is finished” isn’t a slogan; it’s a verdict that creates a new beginning. We talk about what that means in practice: bold access to God, a cleansed conscience, and a purpose bigger than survival. The church isn’t a flickering candle in a storm; with the Spirit’s power, we are called the light of the world, carrying hope into anxious workplaces, fractured communities, and restless hearts.
If you’ve felt the distance and want the nearness, this conversation offers a way forward—clear, honest, and centered on Jesus. Hear how love that spoke galaxies into being now speaks over you with mercy and truth. Share this with someone who needs courage, leave a review if it helped you, and subscribe so you never miss future messages.
NEW BOOK! I'm pleased to say that we have completed a new book that has been years in the making. The Ten Shirot: Songs of Redemption looks at ten songs that were sung through pivotal times in Scripture. It's an examination of the redemption of Jesus, of worship, and of Scripture in a way that we believe you probably haven't seen before. Check it out at https://a.co/d/0a4KIooL .

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah and amen. No matter what's going on in your life, no matter what's going on in your country, no matter what's going on in the nation around you, uh, no matter what uh demonic spirits are being released and released and released and amplified and amplified and amplified in these last days. Um Lord said, Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. For I've overcome the world. Hallelujah. So welcome uh tonight. Um if you're here in the house, uh especially welcome if you're watching us or listening to us um abroad around the world, um, over 80 nations now, and hallelujah. Um, many, many um people in the Asian nations, especially over the past seven days. Um want to say we saw you, want to say we see you currently, and we are praying for you. And so reach out to us, uh, continue to share these, continue to use these, play these for your friends and families and churches and for people who need Jesus. Hallelujah and amen. And so tonight, um be in several scriptures, and so um whoever got the keyboard back there, you all gonna be jumping around, amen. And um start in first John chapter four. First John chapter four, uh verses fifteen and sixteen. And the word of God reads this way Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him. And he in God. Hallelujah. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Hallelujah. God is love, and we're gonna unfold this from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. God is love, and so come back to Genesis with that in mind, and we'll come back up to first John, but come to Genesis chapter 2. Right in the right in the beginning. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the hosts of them, they were finished. This God who is love, he did a whole bunch of stuff out of love. He just spoke and he spoke and he spoke and he spoke, and on one day, you know, thing this came into being. One day the next thing came into being, one day the next thing came into being, one day the he spoke and spoke and spoke an overflow of his love. And overflow. This this wasn't a far-off, passionless, dry speech. This this was a fullness of joy. This was a joyful, authoritative, efficacious, powerful work of a mighty, holy God who is in his very essence love. On his word went forth, and it accomplished what he said it accomplished. It accomplished on the first day, it accomplished on the second, on the third, on the fourth, on the fifth, on the sixth. It accomplished and accomplished and accomplished. And in every moment of those days, you bet you're you bet God was rejoicing. You bet God was joyful, you bet God was happy, you bet the Father was there, Jesus was there. It's all being done through Jesus, by Jesus, of Jesus, and for Jesus, the Word, and the Holy Ghost is there, the angelic host is watching and rejoicing and hallelujah and amen. And it's a glorious, glorious, glorious time, and it's a time that's filled with life. I want you to hear that. It's not dry and passionless, it's not far off and distant, it's not the work of a cheerless and cruel tyrant. It's not a mystery or a puzzle to be debated or solved. No, this was the the simple, plain work and desire and will made manifest of God Himself, who is in his essence love. It was good. Oh, he said it was good. Oh, he said it was finished. Mark that word. The heavens and the earth were finished. Not halfway done, not 75%, not 90%, finished. It was completed, made perfect, brought to an end, perfected, accomplished, and polished to the degree of excellence that God intended. It was brought to a finish. And this is after he formed man of the dust of the earth, and and and he breathed his nostrils, and the man became a living soul. Again, the work of a passionate loving God. And the work that God smiled at, and the work that God shouted at, and work that made God dance, and the work that made God happy. He loved this creation, he loves it still. See, creation was perfect, man was perfect, woman was perfect, she was formed from the man, everything was perfect. Revelation 4 tells us, You have created all things, and for thy pleasure they were, they are and were created. For God's pleasure, he did this. For God's pleasure, he made man. For God's pleasure, he made woman. And he made this creation perfect for the man, perfect for the woman. And he made the man and the woman perfect for the creation. It was perfect. Now you've heard it before. God would come and God would walk and God would talk, and uh we've heard rich things about the garden that God made on this earth. Man would have dominion over the earth, he'd be fruitful in it, he would multiply, he would subdue it, he would live life. And and this life that man would live. He's made perfect in the image of God, and you bet that this life was joyful. This life was a joyful life, it was a full life, it was a complete life, it was a passionate life, it was a life filled with relationship and fruitfulness, it was a life filled with wonder, it was a life filled with excitement, it was a life filled with amazement, it was a life lived to the fullest in relationship with the very God who is love, who made the man and made the woman. We didn't make ourselves, we didn't make this world around us. We were formed, creation was created by a joyous act of a loving God. You see, my friend, the life you live and the creation you walk is not yours. The life you've got right now, God gave it to you. The body you've got right now is not yours. God gave it to you. The air you breathe is not yours, God gave it to you. The food you eat, the money you got. God gave it all to you. Every last bit. God gave it to you. Again, a passionate, joyful, loving God gave you the life you got, gave you the life you're living, gave you the body you're in, gave you the mind that you use. See, you use it, but God gave it to you. You didn't go out and get it yourself. The emotion and the passion you have, you know, the the world all around you. You drive on the roads, well, you're driving over God's creation. You walk, you're walking on God's earth. You run, you're running on God's earth. You get you go to sleep on God's earth and you wake up on God's earth, it's not yours. I mean, you might you if you own land, you you got a property line and you say, Well, that's my land. Well, sort of, you know, in a sense, but not really. God made that land before there were property lines. God made your nation before there were nations. And oh, all this creation, my friend, you know, creation in some ways knows more than we do. You know, Romans says it groans. Yeah, it waits for its redemption. And it waits for all the sons of God to be revealed. Hallelujah and amen. Romans tells us that. But my friend, your life is not your own. It was given a gift by a loving, passionate God who goes one further. He's a giving God. He delights to give. Makes him smile to give. He's a blessing, sort of a God. Because, my friend, you might notice that there's a gap between God and you. There's a distance between God and you. God is kind of this out there thing. I got news for you. God is bridging the gap right now. God is introducing himself to you if you're lost tonight. God is introducing himself to you, if you're apart from him tonight, if you're separate from him tonight. God, this is God's introduction to you. I made all things, I created all things, that includes you. And I know you and I see you and I love you. And this whole time you've been living your life. Goodness and mercy, my goodness and mercy have been following you this entire time. My goodness and mercy led you into this room tonight, into this house tonight. My goodness and mercy led you to hear this message, led you to click on this podcast, led you to click on this video. My goodness and mercy has been following you, and I want to put you together with me, and I'm gonna do that through this. You don't know who I am, I know who you are, so I'm gonna introduce myself. I am the Lord your God, and I know you and see you and love you.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:God knows. There was a distance to bridge, all because people fell. You know, Eve was deceived, Adam followed her right on in that deception, and there was a fall. You know, ever since Cain, my friends, uh, there's been a separation at birth between man and God. There's been a separation. And so man goes his own way, you go your own way, you you have your whole your whole life. Up to this point, it's just been okay, what what feels good? What do I like? What do I deem to be good? Um, what do I deem to have, you know, what is pleasing to me, uh, what is what what excites me, what thrills me, what comforts me. So I'm gonna go after those things. I'm gonna stay away from the stuff that makes me uncomfortable. Uh, I'm gonna I might tolerate a little bit of discomfort to get to the pleasure on the other side, but you know, I'm gonna judge what I believe to be good, what I believe to be evil. I'm gonna go after my good and go after, you know, stay away from that from that other stuff. There's a separation between you and God. Because my friend, you know, the Bible calls that sin. And it can only lead to your destruction and to your death. Whatever it looks like might look like fornication. You know, we sang about part of a song we sang a little bit earlier. Um, some people go after drugs, some people go after money, some people go after, you know, just just whatever it is. But my friend, the wages of sin are going to catch up to you, and maybe you're feeling that. Maybe you're feeling the weight of your guilt. Maybe you're feeling depressed, maybe you're feeling anxious and worried and scared all the time. Because I I believe a lot of people are there. There's a real spirit of fear going on in America right now. Um, a lot of people are there. A lot of people are uncertain, uncertain about the economy, uncertain about our politics, uncertain about you know, the social order, um, uncertain, you know, where we're going to be in three to five years as a country, if we are even going to be a country in three to five years. There's a real spirit of fear in the land. There's a real spirit of loneliness in the land. There's a real spirit of, you know, I've I've fornicated and fornicated and fornicated. I've drunk and I've drunk and I've drunk. You know, I've done this and done that and I've done this. You know, I've worked and I worked and I worked and it wasn't enough. Especially that work one. I work and I work and I work and I work and I work and it's not enough. My friend, you're experiencing the wages of sin. You're experiencing a life lived separate from God, and the reality is God is bridging the gap. And so come on up to John chapter 1. We're gonna look at this in action. John chapter 1, when God showed up, hallelujah. John chapter 1, right at the beginning. In in the beginning was the word. We were just there back in Genesis. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. This is Jesus. All things were made by him joyfully, passionately, brought to a finish, perfection, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life. Do you want some life tonight? Oh, you might be biologically living, but you're not really living. And you know it. You know that it's just the grind every day. You know that you're not where you want to be. You know, just in your conscience, you know that this isn't all there is. And my friend, that's a great starting place. But God's gonna finish it. Because my friend, you're separate from him, you're separate from him, you're separate from him, you're in sin, and God doesn't want you to remain in sin. And so in him was life, and God wants you to have it. If you don't have it, God wants you to have it. If you do have it, God wants you to live it abundantly, amen. And life, here it is, was the light of men. And the light, and I love how this is present tense. The light shines in the darkness. He still does. The light shines in darkness. This is what God did. He came down to a dark world, and you don't have to look too far. See, it's a dark world. Easy to see the darkness in the world, more difficult to see the darkness in you. Say it again. Easy to see, point out the darkness around. More tough to see the darkness that's in you, and so that's why Jesus is coming right now and he's shining a great big light right on you. He's shining into your darkness, he's shining into your pride, he's shining into your ego, he's shining into your greed, he's shining into your fear, he's shining into your self-centeredness, he's shining into your lust and your perversions, he's shining into your loneliness, he's shining into your despair, he's shining into your hatred and this shining, all the darkness in all of creation since the fall, bless God, it cannot quench this shining. It cannot quench this light, but this light shines and has an effect on the darkness. Light doesn't put it out, but the but you know, the the darkness doesn't disturb the light, but the light disturbs the darkness. It unsettles you on a deep personal level. You're hearing this preaching and it and it unsettles you. It shakes you up. There's a there's there's a little part of you right now that's starting to believe. Wow, there there is a God, and he's shining his light on me right now, and all I've never known is that darkness hurts my eyes. All I've ever done is live in darkness. I it makes me uncomfortable. I don't know it. God's still in it. You know, I I don't know it. I don't understand it. Well, the darkness comprehended it not. Darkness is never gonna understand it. But what I want to ask, oh bless you, but what I want to ask you tonight is do you want it? You see, a lot of people comprehended it not in Jesus' day. They didn't they they didn't understand, they didn't want to. Um, Jesus was there, you know, he was doing all this stuff, and people knew he was a little bit different, but they didn't want to understand. They didn't want to know him, they didn't want to walk with him, they uh they sure didn't want to listen to him, and they sure didn't want to obey him. They sure didn't want to believe him, they they comprehended it not. They they they they didn't understand it and they didn't want to put their arms around it. They didn't want to make the make it theirs. I got a question for you. Do you want the light of God in your life? And the light is the truth, my friend. The truth. The truth about you and the truth about him. Do you want him? Because my friend, the light's still shining, it's shining on you. And uh, you know what's more? What happened? After Jesus died and after Jesus rose again, he's alive today. You know what happened to the light, it increased. It wasn't it wasn't just Jesus anymore and a few disciples. In church, this is where you come in. The light increased. What does Jesus say about the church? You're the light of the world. You are the light of the world. There's more than one of you sitting in this room. And Jesus said, You're gonna do greater things, you're you're gonna do the works that I did. You're you're gonna continue them. You're you are going to do them. As I the Father sent me, so I send you. And I'm not leaving you alone. I haven't left you alone. I give you a comforter, I give you the Holy Spirit. Go back to John. Whoever whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God, the light of the world, God dwells in you. And you dwell in God. You are the light of the world. And my friend, there should be more light in this world presently, today, in the last days, than there was when Jesus was walking around. There should be more light available to this world. Hallelujah. Does that flip you on your head? You're no longer the poor, pathetic, helpless little church. He's just scraping to get by. No. You're the light of the world. There's more light in this room than there was back then. Because there's more than one. You see, it used to be just Jesus. Just Jesus and just the Father. Oh man, what he did. Hallelujah. What he did. What Jesus did. He turned a nation on its head. Um he turned a nation on his head, but you know, bless God, he still had time. You know, Simon's Simon Peter's mother got sick one day. He still had time. He paused everything and he walked in and he rebuked a fever. He turned nations on his head, but he still had time for the individual. Bless God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Greater things, my friend, greater things. Do you believe in tonight? So we've got God stepping into the darkness, shining, shining, shining, shining. And let's move into Hebrews, my friend. Hebrews 12. Looking unto, are you looking under Jesus today? Hallelujah. Lost man, lost woman, lost child. Jesus is shining in your heart right now. Are you looking unto him? Look to him. Look to him. Don't be as Cain did and throw your eyes downward. Don't say, Come again, come again, come again, some more convenient day. Look to him now. For today is the day of your salvation. Jesus, the author and finisher, finisher, finisher, he came up with our faith and he finished it. Who for the joy, oh my friend, we come back to this again and again. The joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. Despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God. Oh, there was a joy set before him. He thought much of the joy and thought little of the shame. He despised the shame, and all he saw was the joy. And the joy of the Lord, my friend, on that cross. The joy of the Lord. Yes, there is a joy that Jesus saw in obeying his Father, but it went beyond that. See, Jesus saw the joy of a saved, born again, redeemed, alive you. He saw the joy of a man, of a woman, their sin forgiven and their sin forgotten. And so he saw that joy, and so he took your sin on himself. He saw the joy. Oh, and he remembered it. He remembered what it was like before there was sin. He remembered what it was like to create the world. Let that blow your mind. This is the word. This is Jesus. And all things created, all things made by him. Without him was not anything made, it was made. He remembered making the world. Hallelujah. And so there was a joy because he knew what he was doing on the cross. And oh, he he he said in John 19, I'll tell you this. He said, It is finished. He's hanging on the tree. He became the curse of the law because he hung on the tree. He became a criminal of criminals under the law. Because it was only a dire, dire, dire criminal to hang on the tree. Oh, and he became all of your curse. He became all of your shame. He became all of your guilt. He became all of your hatred and your blasphemy and your ego and your pride and your arrogance and your drunkenness. You rattle it on off and you see how sin comes out. You see how your sin comes out. How does it come out? Does it come out in in fear? Does it come out in in guilt? Does it come out in shame? Does it come out in in outward bursts of anger? Does it come out in in in a fornication and in a drunkenness? And does how does it come out of you? Well, that sin, that nature, Jesus became it. And he did it for the joy. Whoa. He did it joyful. Oh, he nailed on the cross. He's suffering suffering's beyond words, honestly. It's beyond words. Even physically, it's beyond words. Much less to have for the first time and for the last time the Father turn his face away from the Son and say, I can no longer see you, I can no longer regard you, I can no longer have you in my presence because you became sin. Oh, even that Jesus did with the joy. Even that. For the joy that was set before him, because he knew, just like in those days of creation, that this was accomplishing what he wanted it to accomplish. You know, there's a phrase earlier tonight. This was the work of putting you back in the garden. This was what it takes. This is what was it was going to accomplish. God was going to have a people again to walk with and to talk with. God was going to have a people again to relate with. Who know who he is and love him and walk with him and talk with him. God was going to do that again. And it took the cross. So there's a joy. Because Jesus could see, he not only saw the cross, he saw what was coming. The joy of a saved, born again, redeemed, alive, you. Need to bring this down to you again. The joy of you. And oh, Jesus said it's finished on the cross. And I'll remind you, completed, made perfect, brought to an end, perfectly glorified, perfectly right in the eyes of God and true in the eyes of God. Oh, and he spoke it in the cross was an act of love. While we were yet sinners, Christ died. For us, Romans tells us that. This was an act of love. This is how God's love was made manifest. You see, he created it, and then it and then and then it fell, and then man fell, and the earth had. To be cursed. And so in an act of love. Parallels creation itself. Jesus went to the cross. Parallels creation itself said it is finished. God would say this over you. Lost man, lost woman, lost child. In this room, beyond this room. God would say this over you. It is finished. You are finished. You're saved. You're born again. You're dwelling in me, and I'm dwelling in you. You're complete. You're made whole. You're the way that I created you and formed you and wanted you to be your home. And we we we see it so much in the Old Testament and New Testament. Peace. You're filled. You ever understand that? Filled with the Holy Ghost? And every time God speaks to you in the spirit, it's just like back in the garden. From our perspective, it's just like back there. You are finished. Can God say that over you right now? Are you finished? Oh my friend, we're talking about the eyes of God. And folks are gonna point out, you know, we're saved, are being saved, we'll be saved. Talking about the eyes of God. The moment you're born again, the moment the Holy Ghost moves inside, the moment the blood is applied to you, the moment it's finished. Look me up. Look me up in the New Testament on it. You see, you you get a resurrection body in glory. You get a name that only God knows right now in glory. And he gives it to you in glory. In the eyes of God, he know he no longer sees your sin. In the eyes of God, God moves in with you, God abides with you, God walks with you through this world, God walks with you in this darkness, you get to shine out in the darkness, just like God. You get He pours into you and you pour out. In the eyes of God, you're finished. He no longer sees your sin. He sees, He sees you the way you were supposed to be before you fell. No sin. Just relationship. No sin. Just a holy, right, passionate, joyful, loving, unashamed, unabashed, bold, full relationship with God. Oh, and and he says, you know, you don't have to wait. You can come before my throne whenever you want to. You can come boldly and you can sit down. Matter of fact, I'm gonna help you. I'm gonna sit you down with me in heavenly places, and I'm gonna shower every spiritual blessing on you right now.
unknown:Thank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_00:You're raised up. That sin's gone and that sin's forgotten. Oh, my friends, do you want him tonight? Do you want the Lord tonight? Do you want the life that God has for you tonight? Oh, don't go the way of Cain. You might have heard about that last week. Don't go that way. Don't walk away from God. You see, he walked away from God, but God wanted this. For even Cain. My friends, you might say, Well, my sin's too great. You know, those sins you rattled off before, those are those are minor league. But my friends, there's uh there's only one way you can't be forgiven. And that's if you refuse. If you refuse the Holy Spirit, if you refuse the drawing of God, that's the only way you can't be forgiven. And no matter how big of a wreck you think you've made, how big of a wreck you think you are, you're not beyond the blood. You're not beyond God's reach. So come to Him tonight. If our musicians will come forward, hallelujah. Call upon the name of the Lord tonight. We'll have a we'll have a time of invitation right here. If you want to be saved tonight, oh just come on forward. I'd be glad to pray with you. Church, this altar is open to you tonight. Hallelujah. And to my friends listening abroad, so many of you abroad now, hallelujah. And if you're lost and you're saying to yourself, What must I do to be saved? Can you tell me what must I do to be saved? I want you to stop right now and ask Jesus to save you. Stop right now and ask Jesus to do this in you. Wash away your sin. Be born again. Be saved and be filled with the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. If you're honest, God's never going to turn you away if you're honest. Hallelujah. Trust Him today. Put your faith in Him today. And thank you for listening. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being on our audio broadcast and our video broadcast around the world. And I want you to continue to share these. Thank you, those of you who are. Thank you for helping us reach more and more people every single week that goes by. You're a part of that. And I want to thank you. Now I know that we're praying for you. And I want you to know that you're welcome here. You may be in a place where you're seeking a church. Especially in America, that can be a challenge. Believe it or not, that can be quite a challenge. You might be, you know, abroad, you might be in Uganda, you might be in Nigeria, you might be in Australia, you might be in Europe, you might be in Asia somewhere. Seeking. And my friend, I want you to know you're welcome and encouraged to come here. To hear the word of the Lord. To be a part of a church. To be a part of building a church. And to be a part of doing the work that's not only impacting the little small country city. But we'll impact the world as well. So let's all need to do this.
