Described as a go-getter who was warm, personable, and a perfectionist, she was brutally murdered on September 11, 1997. Her killer or killers posed as a potential buyer and requested to see a vacant, secluded home. Charlotte accepted the appointment and was never seen alive again.
Over the years, authorities have remained tight-lipped about the investigation, revealing few clues regarding possible suspects or motives. September 11, 2022, markerd the 25th anniversary of Charlotte's murder, with no arrests made in the case. Her murder has become one of the most talked-about cold cases in the Lehigh Valley, a place where most crimes consist of parking tickets.
