Episode 24: Gentrification: Unscripted Conversations on Life & Faith
•
Kayla Craig, Lindsy Wallace, Kristi James, Lori Harris, Shannon Evans
Gentrification: It's a topic often misunderstood, and maybe even a bit controversial. We speak with Leroy Barber, one of the few experts on gentrification. Leroy has dedicated nearly thirty years to eradicating poverty, confronting homelessness, restoring local neighborhoods, healing racism, and living what Dr. King called “the beloved community.” He is currently writing his fifth book entitled, The Injustice of Gentrification: Memories of Home, which is the topic of his conversation with Lindsy Wallace. Kayla Craig and Kristi James join Lindsy for a post-interview conversation as well.
