Jesus the Conquerer

Evil still exists in the world, but Jesus conquers it in a way no human ruler ever has. Rather than defeating His enemies through force, He transforms them through agape, the self-sacrificing love that seeks another person's good at personal cost. This is the love displayed at the cross, where God stepped into human history and gave His life as a sacrifice for sin. The early church in Ephesus demonstrated this love in ways that turned the ancient world upside down, and the same victory is still unfolding today. Every act of foster care, forgiveness, prison ministry, or disaster relief is King Jesus continuing to conquer through His people. Agape is not a feeling. It is a decision, and it is the most powerful force in human history.
