What China Did To Stop The Outbreak In 3 Months - Episode 13
Show Notes

In this podcast Dr. Bisong gives an update on the situation in China and some strategies which have helped them deal with the virus:

Some of the topics discussed include:

- Why in the Gansu province after Chinese Medicine was introduced as a treatment there was an 87.9% cure rate from the virus.

- Why an early lock down is so important in the response to pandemics and how this reflects the statistics of the spread of coronavirus in China.

- Why there is a necessity for immediately categorising the severity of the infected individuals and placing them into different areas.

- In China today Western Medicine is predominant and Chinese Medicine is viewed as unscientific. During this pandemic however, the central government forced both medicines to work together like an arranged marriage. In this particular case the arranged marriage worked out and Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine were able to mix and work well together. The glue which bound this together was the common heart which all doctors and volunteers shared; in forgetting about their own opinions and doing everything they could to treat those who were suffering and needed love and care.

- Chinese Medicine does not treat just the virus, instead it treats the whole body.
