Monster Movie Happy Hour, Ep. 157, "The Alligator People"

We are back after a brief hiatus - and what better way to celebrate than chat about 1959's " The Alligator People"? Swamp atmosphere, Lon Chaney Jr. and some special make-up effects/masks that are the early work of the amazing Dick Smith adds up to a surprisingly fun movie!

Quicksand cocktail

1 oz. Baileys Irish Cream

1 oz. Vodka

.5 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps

.5 oz. Kahlua Coffee  Liqueur

 2 tsp. powdered chocolate or regular Graham cracker

maraschino cherries for garnish

Combine liquor in Old Fashioned glass with ice, stir

Sprinkle powdered graham cracker over drink

Garnish with cherry

Manon’s Restorative cocktail

1.5 oz. White Rum

1 oz. Pimms No.1 Liqueur

1 oz pickle juice

1 oz. simple syrup

2 dashes Tabasco

Combine and mix ingredients

Rim Highball glass with Cajun seasoning

Top off with 7-up or Sprite

Garnish with pickle
