Show Notes

This episode features Dr. Russell Jeung of San Francisco State University.  We focus our conversation around his 2016 book, At Home in Exile Finding Jesus among My Ancestors and Refugee Neighbors.

According to his faculty page, "His research interests include the Sociology of Race, the Sociology of Religion, and Social Movements. Dr. Jeung is extensively engaged with his students in conducting community-based, participatory research with Asian American communities." In response to increased violence against Asian Americans, Dr. Jeung helped to start Stop AAPI Hate.

This is a unique, interdisciplinary conversation that will both encourage and challenge the audience. Enjoy!
