[0:26] Yes, as Chris Packham said just now, we are back with a brand new series where we'll head out into the natural world to interview bat conservationists undertaking their work and getting the latest news and updates from the world of bats.

[0:39] Episodes will be released every other Wednesday starting from next week. Here's a sneak peek of what's coming this series:

Guest 1:
[0:45] And we started looking at lime kilns on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and so on. I think there's about 800 in the Yorkshire Dales but this one kiln sort of has it all and it's got bats all year round.

Guest 2:
[0:55] He set about purchasing these beautiful old buildings like the building we can see today and that was the beginning of long and successful story in turning around and reversing the decline in these species.

Guest 3:
[1:13] And he lived in a caravan outside at the archway here where the bats come out. He was probably the UK's first paid bat worker.
