I think it finished about"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":153.24,"endTime":157.8,"body":"10 years ago, it closed because"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":153.24,"endTime":157.8,"body":"it was so unsafe. And if you"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":157.8,"endTime":163.08,"body":"look at the far pillar over"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":157.8,"endTime":163.08,"body":"there on the north aisle, it's"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":163.08,"endTime":165.9,"body":"such a weird angle. It literally"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":163.08,"endTime":165.9,"body":"is. It's amazing. It's standing"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":165.9,"endTime":169.8,"body":"up and the church subsided to"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":165.9,"endTime":169.8,"body":"such an extent that Windows"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":169.8,"endTime":173.76,"body":"started falling out, bits of"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":169.8,"endTime":173.76,"body":"stonework started falling out"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":173.79,"endTime":177.18,"body":"and it became unsafe. In fact,"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":173.79,"endTime":177.18,"body":"if you stand there and look at"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":177.18,"endTime":180.48,"body":"the chancel arch, it's just not"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":177.18,"endTime":180.48,"body":"right. You can see either you've"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":180.48,"endTime":184.11,"body":"been drinking or the building's"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":180.48,"endTime":184.11,"body":"not right. And it's not it's not"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":184.11,"endTime":189.27,"body":"the former. So they stuck. They"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":184.11,"endTime":189.27,"body":"abandoned it at that point, and"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":189.27,"endTime":192.54,"body":"they couldn't raise the funding"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":189.27,"endTime":192.54,"body":"to fix it. Now, weirdly enough,"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":192.57,"endTime":197.76,"body":"all of this damage was caused by"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":192.57,"endTime":197.76,"body":"bad drainage over years and"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":197.76,"endTime":200.88,"body":"years and years, and it's ended"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":197.76,"endTime":200.88,"body":"up with the ground settling and"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":200.91,"endTime":204.66,"body":"this problem occurring. And they were"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":207.12,"endTime":210.75,"body":"really proactive took the church"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":210.75,"endTime":214.53,"body":"on and when you look at it"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":210.75,"endTime":214.53,"body":"today, it's marvellous it looks"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":214.56,"endTime":217.89,"body":"in such good condition. They'd already with"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":256.74,"endTime":259.05,"body":"a few of the members from the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":256.74,"endTime":259.05,"body":"group identified a lot of the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":259.05,"endTime":261.81,"body":"access points into the church"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":259.05,"endTime":261.81,"body":"but hadn't had much access"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":261.81,"endTime":264.84,"body":"inside because it's difficult to"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":261.81,"endTime":264.84,"body":"get a key to get in because it's"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":264.84,"endTime":268.65,"body":"such a remote village, I think"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":264.84,"endTime":268.65,"body":"the keyholders a farmer,"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":268.95,"endTime":273.45,"body":"somewhere down the village. Because"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":377.73,"endTime":381.06,"body":"it was in a really bad state at"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":377.73,"endTime":381.06,"body":"that point. And they gave up the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":381.06,"endTime":383.37,"body":"church and the church"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":381.06,"endTime":383.37,"body":"Conservation Trust, took it on"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":383.61,"endTime":387.33,"body":"2014 we got ready to go with it."},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":383.61,"endTime":387.33,"body":"And we were ready for the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":387.33,"endTime":390.75,"body":"September to hit it. And then"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":387.33,"endTime":390.75,"body":"there were so many delays on the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":390.75,"endTime":395.46,"body":"funding. This work actually"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":390.75,"endTime":395.46,"body":"started in here in March. And"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":395.49,"endTime":400.29,"body":"there's 500,000 pounds worth of"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":395.49,"endTime":400.29,"body":"work in here. At a time when the"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":400.29,"endTime":406.38,"body":"bats were here having their"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":400.29,"endTime":406.38,"body":"babies, so to say it was nervous"},{"speaker":"Barry Collins","startTime":406.38,"endTime":411.57,"body":"breakdown material.
