5th. Sunday in Lent - The Jesus Challenge - Giving

This week we continue the Lenten series, The Jesus Challenge with a focus on Giving.  It is interesting that of all the topics Jesus speaks about money is the one he speaks most about.   But his discussions around money is not to get more from us, but to help us develop and live with a healthy attitude to money, seeing money as a tool to bless others with.     Our readings from Malachi 3:6-12, 2 Corinthians 8:1-10 and Matthew 6.19-24 encourage us to see and use money in healthy ways.
